Hey man my pleasure.  I was there once.  I started when I was 21 (once my college football career failed) and after years of getting my head kicked in I started to figure things out.  I have studied alot of what you see from guys like Billy Walters (who in my opinion is the greates sports better on the planet).  Don't get caught up in the number of games or why things don't appear on paper to make any sense.  It is all about reading the lines coupled with trends/stats, line movement and value.  I haven't deviated away from my system for 7 years now and it certainly pays off. 

I used to post on another site (which I will not mention so I don't get banned) and had some followers there (now here).  I took everthing to Covers cuase quite frankly it is the best out there! 

One thing I noticed is that there are a ton of good cappers here too with different methods.  Any advice I can give would be to take a little bit from the good ones here and apply it to your own so that you come up with your own good system that makes sense.  Do what works for you and remember that Patience and Consistency is the KEY.  There is NO quick buck in this game.  That would be just plan LUCKY!

Good question.  Yes these odds are usually at about the time I post (I'll put my plays in first though before I post) but remember how many times I stress that you have to have multiple books.  It is SO IMPORTANT to have more than one book; especially in Bases cause the money line moves so much.

 I have 1 local and 2 off shore books.  ALL will naturally have different odds through out the days.  I love the mix I have because one book does not follow the other. I can't tell you how many times I see line movement where my 3 books are 10 - 15 cents off from one another!

Yes I am good with Detroit.  I actually saw the pitching change early and went with it.  I like this kid Turner (good stuff out of minor league) pitching today for Detroit and this is a VERY short line with Haren going for the Angels.  Going with the Odds Makers on this one.  Good Luck!!!

Boy these Ranger games are getting shorter and shorter.  That pitching staff has been fantastic! I am going to say the Rangers got the BEST young staff in the Majors!  Holland, Matty Harrison and Ogando are just a bunch of BULLDOGS!!!  The Daniels plan has worked perfectly.  Just FYI he is a deciple of Billy Bean's MONEY BALL!
