Hey Bodio, great work this year.
Is the Barcelona game mentioned above
On Oct 2nd, Sunday at 2:00pm EST against Sporting de Gijón?
Im having some trouble tracking down this soccer game you speak of.
Hey Bodio,
By the time I saw your Blue Jays post, I got the line at +108. Now it's at -100. Is it wise to put more on the Blue Jays? Thanks for all your write-ups

Won some real cash yesterday on a 4 game parlay: WASH/COWBOYS TIE, Texas Rangers to win, Sf Giants to win, and Giants/Rockies under 8.5
Today I like Detroit Tigers to win by 2 or more, and Giants/Rockies under 7.5
Goodluck Bodio and rest of you guys!

Unless Girardi, came up to me and said, "Composite, we're planning on tanking the games vs Tampa so the Red Sox will miss the playoffs" this is simply an educated guess.
But it's not something stupid like "this is a must-win game for the Red Sox." One thing is patently clear: Yanks want the Red Sox to miss the playoffs. You don't hear any Yankee saying they hope to knock Tampa out of the playoffs.
They'd benefit by losing to TB. So they may not play 100%. I don't understand why that's so controversial. I could be wrong. But I could be right. If I'm right, the odds of TB winning go up dramatically. Probably a lot higher than 66% as reflected in the current odds.
BTW, I meant they tanked the last game of the TB series in NY. Then played 3 tough games vs Boston and then lost again last night.
After clinching the East, Yanks lost 15-6 to TB. Then they won 2 of 3 vs Boston, losing only in 14 innings. Then they lost 5-2 to TB yesterday.
I'm not the only one suggesting that the Yanks could be tanking.

The final two games of the regular season mean nothing to the Bombers and everything to the Rays, who pulled into a tie with the Red Sox for the AL wild card Monday night. ... Does [Joe Girardi] go all out to protect the integrity of the playoff race or does he do what he feels is necessary to best prepare the Yankees for Friday's Game 1? "My first objective is to make sure our team is ready and healthy to go on Friday," Girardi said. "That's what we have to do. It's a tough situation." Nobody is suggesting that Girardi has plans to tank these last two games in an attempt to help the Rays get into the playoffs, but it wouldn't be the worst idea"

hey composite..... breaking news!!....BODIO is also "tanking it" for the remainder of the season!!...he has lost his desire till the play offs!!!...better stay away.....hahahahah!!!!!
i think you are putting way to much emphasis on this "tanking" issue rather than following the ability of the players in these games...think more objectively and less subjectively like the mind games category i think "tanking " would come under...how is that for a psychological analysis of the word, TANKING!....hahahaa!
anyways, good luck today whoever you choose to wager on!
IMO, the "tanking" angle is just icing and at this point, overblown. But if I'm right, then it's a lock. I like Hellickson over Colon a lot.

1 point i would like to make Re: NYY / Boston /Tampa.
Out of Tampa and Boston who is the most dangerous team that may threaten the Yanks in the post season? Answer = Tampa
Why wouldn't the Yanks take this opportunity to elimate the Rays from making the Post season now.
Boston are limping into the playoffs ( if they make it ) and would surely be an easier proposition for any team in the 1st round of the post season.
Yanks won't tank tonight and will endeavour to beat the Rays so as not to meet them in the playoffs. So the value in tonights game and maybe Tomorrows are the Bombers. Lets get it![]()
