Bodio and Hitterno, i've been on here for a few years, lurked around for quite a few years before this. I officially stand up, and give you both a standing ovation. That was one of the best, most reasonable, most proof driven exchanges i've ever seen on this site.
i'm really very impressed.

nope i was on boston..ive been on boston all 3 times they beat lackey....all three games i made a thread about the line..
cc both times vs beckettt this year opened at -120 at home and steamed up to -135..cc shud never be -120 at home to anyone..that weak line indicated a boston win..
last time cc faced lackey.lackey was an embarrassment prior to seeing the yanks and cc was on stretch where he went 55.2 IP and gave up 6er..i dont remember exactly how much the line moved up..but it steamed up a bunch..and everyone was all ove the yanks..
this scenario is completly different..
bostons won lackeys last 7 of 9 starts..yanks just split a series with orioles and almost were swept by oakland..cc hasnt been himself and bostons in first place.yet cc opened at -155 and instead of steaming up..it wnt down to -135 and from what ive seen.boston is definetly a popular dog today..this is the first time the majority is not backing cc..
What you consider to be a "weak" line doesn't indicate who is going to win, ever. I don't understand that thinklng. can you explain?

Glad you backed the bombers! Took them last night for a small "action" wager on the runline, but when i saw the line moved I upped the ante. Thanks for your FF input, just finished up my draft and I took a few of your sleepers, team looks pretty solid

I thought Oakland was a great call, really good spot for them tonite. Cahill had the wrong umpire or else it would have been a completely different game. Dont know if you keep track of who is behind plate but the guy tonite would not call a strike on Cahills back door sinker and without the pitch he is going to struggle..

linesmakers tip their hand on lines all the time..CC sabathia is one of the most public pitchers in all of baseball..he should never be -120 at home to anyone..hell he was even -135 to the doc when he came into yankee stadium..i made threads about that both games he opened at -120 to beckett and both times people came in my thread and said im overthinking it and to hammer CC..well that line that i 100 percent knew opened short..steamed up to -140 each time..and i grabbed beckett +120 in full confidence that the sox would win..lines open up short for a reason all the time..and they open up high for a reason to be hammered down (like tonight)..theese games dont happen everyday..but there are a handful of these kind of games that happen in a week..last week i posted in papi4mvp thread 4 sttraight days of linesmakers tipping their hand and i went 4-0.. whether you agree with me or not..thats how i look at games..i use the phylosophy in all sports and i have definetly proved it works..just look at my records..
