Anthony Kay is a 31 year old reliever who spent 2024/2025 pitching in Japan.

He started on 3/29. Pitched out of the pen 4/4. Started on 4/9(vs kc, his best outing, kc sucks), and back out of the pen on 4/16 where he labored 71 pitches over 2.2 innings. 

This is pure ass to a pitcher's routine. And he's got the worst bullpen behind him.

Backing Eduardo Rodriguez and AZ's pen here is of no concern. The splits vs LHP in the 1st 5 innings is on our side in recent times.

The CWS are the worst hitting team in innings 7 through 9.

The D'backs are 5-3 after a loss. The CWS are 2-5 after a win.
