Ober has given up exactly one run in 8 of his 11 starts. He's not dominant, but is consistent and doesn't give up much when it counts - guys are hitting just .208 against him with runners in scoring position. Gets double plays, wiggles out of jams and gets good run support. The Twins are 9-2 in his starts.
Bryce Miller on the other hand hasn't pitched for three weeks and is coming off an elbow injury. So, maybe 80 pitches and hand it over to a bullpen that's been hammered lately? And I'm guessing no Munoz since he's pitched in back-to-back games now.
Makes sense until it doesn't.
