Not the point he was trying to make. Lefties don't bother the Yankees...lefties make a big difference at Yankee Stadium. Righties pitching in that park allow 7 batters to hit lefty to pull the ball to right field while Jeter and A-Rod can hit to right better than most.

Lee and Happ would be the best options for the Phillies to open the series. But Blanton is probably the Game 4 starter anyway.

So Afraud and Jeter hit well against everybody. How about the rest of the lineup against Pedro.

Melky 1-5
Cano 0-12
Damon 1-6
Matsui 4-18
Posada 2-13
Swisher and Teixeira combined 0-5

I am ok with Pedro in game 2.

I'm not one of the people who say the Yanks own Pedro. I mean...when exactly was the last time they saw him? I know this team in particular hasn't seen him with Tex and Swisher in the lineup. I do have faith that they will beat him though.

So now your going with "almost"? I can handle that. The Yanks "almost" lost to the Angels. I'm very proud of that. I can't wait for the Yankes to "almost" lose to the Phillies too.

Ok so this is coming from a Yankee fan. I just dont believe in talking shit considering i'll never step on the field for "my team" so who am I to talk shit and walk around like my shit don't stink BUT who are philly fans to talk? Pleaseeeee you guys are equally, if not worse then new york fans. The thing is, we outnumber you, and always will. Yes there are "bandwagon fans" but every team has those fans. Give it up Philly fans and stop pretending like NY fans are the only ones talking shit leading up to this series. This is going to be a GREAT series, couldn't ask for a better one.
