That was some crazy 8th inning with roller coaster of 16 runs. I'm sure the books made tons of money with hedgers as well as those who knew what was coming. Interestingly enough the standard run line for the Cubs was +1.5 and not -1.5 you'd expect for the home game against not such powerhouse. But, all this is a disaster or a miracle for a betting folk. For a regular Joe and his wife and the kids this was one hack of a drama you love baseball for. We love mathematics and try to enjoy every game caring less who wins as we employ system that embraces losses not less than the wins... Cause each loss carries a promise of a bigger win the very or the very very next time  :)
