I had to make a very close call on recent June 09 game......Borderline between a mediocre outing or calling it a BAD outing.....I have it mediocre, and therefore he escaped a truly BAD outing vs. a GOOD BATTING LAD team and his hot streak extends to 9 games now without yet getting truly "roughed up"

Thanks for the record update. I didnt even think you posted plays Usually, I just scroll through the last page, see 0 plays, have a stroke, and then leave
I don't think he's been posting plays. The records have been posting are stats based on all teams and games, not necessarily his bets.
Looking forward to when he actually posts his plays again.

OMG! In just 1.1 ip, Gil allowed a WHOPPING 11 men on base and 7 earned runs before mercifully being pulled early 2nd inning.
See what I mean by these "HOT STREAK" warnings, fellas?!!
Gil is an *EXCELLENT* pitcher, but he just had one of those @#$%&! days that happens to the best of them and usually out of nowhere! I hope my warning helped a few to just PASS on the game.
Make no mistake though, Gil will rebound next game....likely the subway series next week.

Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again. It happens to the best of them. Just CAN NOT be avoided.
When??? We can't know that for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is after they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season, not just from the start) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances. It happens! But for me, I don't need the stress that his bubble may burst that day. There's other games to look at. I can simply skip those "STREAKER" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing, then resume looking at his starts after that!

Horrible loss by twins yesterday. Rather see them get blown out instead of meaningless come back. How do they respond after 2 crushing losses? Must win series on road trip! Need to go 6-3 at very worst
