I see the waaaaaaaaay overpriced Dodgers LOST again ...
Is the dodgers pay roll like a billion(just kidding) and yet they still lose lots of games. Owner thought he could just buy trophies. So glad to see this team lose

I hope some bet that pitt under last night when i posted it. Total was 8.5 and moved to 8 today. game fell on 8 so based off opening number that umpire is now 20-1 to the unders this season
@cd329
Amazing. I hope some were able to take advantage.
Personally I am cursed when I bet unders so just happy to observe.

same as me. I could have a game under 10, 0-0 in the 10th inning and lose

Okay my Friends, we have another big umpire bias going today. Umpire Erich Bacchus is 18-5 to the over.
These are good plays, but its gambling and they dont always win. Its always nice to have a stat or trend on your side. So if you already like the game over, this helps your pick. Good luck everybody
opening total is 9

Starter Chase Burns (Reds) still has good numbers overall for the season,
BUT . . . his ERA has gotten progressively WORSE since mid-May.
Furthermore his recent 3 ROAD starts since the ASB are UNimpressive.
July 21, aided by the "pitcher friendly confines of Seattle's T-Mobile Park, he tossed a decent game albeit against the weakass bats of the Mariners - lowest runs scored in MLB.
August 8, facing a GOOD offense in Washington, he gave up 5 earnies in an 8 - 2 LOSS.
Then in his last start, he faced the struggling offense of the GIANTS and they tapped him for a whopping 10 baserunners and 5 ernies in only 3.1 ip!!
Tonight, on the road again, he faces a very good offense...

...and....bottom of the first, already WHEELER has walked a guy, beaned a guy, and allowed a base hit to load up the bases with NOBODY out
Fortunately, WHEELER got lucky and escaped disaster with only one run scored.

Miami waits to actually give a damn about scoring until the 9th inning. You just cant count on teams to stay motivated late in the season.
Also i dropped the ball on this total, forgot to check his prior game umping. Had i done that i would have seen that out of the 18 games he umped the over for, the 13 of those games the total was either 7.5, 8. or 8.5. todays game at 9 and 9.5 was out of that range. My fault guys.
Probably time to rest my umpire picks until next season, where i know i can get the teams to actually play hard until late in the season
