Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again.  It happens to the best of them.  Just CAN NOT be avoided.

When???  We can't know that for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is after they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season, not just from the start) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances....it happens!  But for me, I don't need the stress that the bubble may burst that day.  There's 14 other games to look at.  I can simply skip those "HOT STREAK" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing beatdown, then resume looking at his starts after that!

But I am making a rare exception to my own hardfast rule with the Dodgers, in part because I believe the Dodgers bats outgun the REDS erven if Yamamoto has an off day   facing a very mediocre relief pitcher for REDS.

One thing clear for years … baseball teams have hitting streaks including bad ones( see the A’s this year) 6 games usually is a end point.. right now the Dodgers are in a classic one.. first of the year and I don’t care if Jesus is pitching, they ain’t scoring.. last night they would have needed 50 innings to score 5 runs

Combined with a hungry young rising team opposing them? Reds for me

Damn!  Not expecting they would yank the reliever in the first inning, and yield to a better reliever.....I was anticipating knocking around SUTER, but Martinez comes in and he's a former starter with better endurance......This could get real dicey now due to that unexpected turn of events

KC has the only edge among those listed but the plus money is too light for my taste. Pass.
