No doubt Shevchenko should be the favorite, but Jedrzejczyk at (+290) has some value.

Joanna's worth a shot at that number for sure. Rose was just a terrible matchup for her and while I like Valentina alot she does have alot of times in fights where she gets stuck and will not throw any and that is a kind of fight JJ can win on points IMO
Far as the main event goes...what a fight
Can't wait for both to get thru their weight cuts to be sure but this should be an epic fight. It's all about matchups in MMA and this ones so interesting. Leaning to Max in this one, big fan of both but think Ortega's getting too much praise for the Frankie fight. That was a terrible matchup for Frankie and he got caught with a beautifully timed elbow from Ortega. All the highlights are of the HUGE uppercut to finish but the elbow is what put Frankie on queer street. Ortega was losing to Guida
before the finish in the 3rd and the Moicano fight woulda been a split decision that coulda gone either way I think before the sub in the 3rd. It all comes to down to Max's health for me. If we get vintage Max this could be a war

super exciting for main even , worried with hollaway being off so. Long with numerous injuries health issues

Holloway still seems a bit off to me in the Embedded videos and in interviews. Max has already had three fights cancelled this year due to health issues so I hope he's alright and can make it to the fight on Saturday, as this is one of the most exciting matchups of the year.
Still find it odd that Holloway's last fight was cancelled due to "concussion-like symptoms" yet he claims to not know what exactly caused it. As far as I know, neither him or his team have released an official diagnosis to explain what happened.

So refreshing to see a genuine respectful press conference without all the made up drama
These guys won't be hugging and touching gloves everytime one lands or no crap like that(hate that), they're gonna bite down and try and leave the other unconscious. This is the perfect medium to me. Both trash talked a little but it was confident good hearted stuff not personal garbage trying to get in the others head.
Loved how Ortega addressed Max's health issues and pulling out of fights. Folks bash way too much about pulling out, it sucks but this is fighting, you don't want to get in there if your health is legitimately compromised.
Cash...What 3 fights did Max pull out of? I can't find the 3rd. I know this one got cancelled once and I know about Khabib but can't think of the 3rd one. Also the Khabib fight he was a late replacement called in to save a card so thats kind of a different situation having to unexpectedly cut that weight IMO

The thing about Holloway stepping in late to fight Khabib is that was to be contested at 155 lbs and Max still couldn't make it.

There is a huge difference between could not make the weight and athletic commission stopping him....He was a few lbs from making weight and athletic commission stopped him based on the way he looked...Its debatable. Also you can't knock max for not making weight vs Khabib...1 week notice before fight flying from Hawaii to NY. Sure knock him for taking the fight but he has never missed weight with a full camp.

My main point there was that if you're the 145 lb champion then you should be able to make 155 lbs with one weeks notice.
Wouldn't be surprised if this is Holloway's last fight at 145.
