 personally I don't think this fight (GSP vs Silva) makes sense really, I mean it will only prove that size does really matter, even if GSP tries to bulk up and then cut down to 185, Silva will still be a bad match up because he's actually a much larger middle-weight (He's a LHW when you think about it since he walks around at 220), a 200-205 Silva vs a 190 pound GSP is a big difference to overcome, if the UFC is serious about giving GSP a middle-weight fight I would give him guys his own size, guys like Leben or Maia would be good examples, heck even guys like Swick or Kampmann would be interesting since they can pull off being middle weights (I believe the winner of them will get the next shot anyways), but Silva? too big for GSP.

Go read some articles about why he decided to fight rashad first. Either way he will fight machida in the new year and then he will shut bandwagon jumpers like you up.

All these articles show is a bunch of excuses from a fighter I use to respect.

My friend, its easy to find who barnett lost to on wikipedia, but try actually watching the fights. Barnett's last loss was 2 years ago and he has greatly approved since then. How can you even compare gsp and fedor when gsp has cleared out his divison and fedor has yet to do so. Fedor last to wins were againsr silvia and arlovski, and what happen to those 2 guys, they both got knocked out in less than 30 seconds.

Before u say that, Arlovski at the time(before he lost to fedor) was a top 2 top 3 ranked heavyweight on all the MMA sites, and Silvia at the time he lost to fedor was in the top 10.  And Barnett is in the top 3 i think now aswell.   Look at all the top names Fedor has beaten and Fedors only loss was BS cause it  was a stoppage due to a cut early in the 1st.  Fedor beat so many top guys in their prime, CroCop, Nog, and the list goes on.......  I love GSP, he is my favorite but I love Fedor too and he deserves to be the P4P top fighter....

I saw in an interview, even GSP himself says Fedor is the top p4p figher.  That should answer u right there.

Anderson(25-4)-Got submitted by Ryo Chonan and Daiju Takase(yep, I know), Azeredo decisioned him, Okami DQ was bs.
 
Fedor-(30-1)The one loss is by bs cut.
 
These guys have fought some of the best fighters in the world at their respective divisions and only one has never legitimately lost. How can anyone argue about who's the best p4p when 2 of the fighters in the discussion have been stopped while the other has never tasted defeat? 
 
And Serb, if you want to do some name dropping in regards to this discussion, here goes a list of Fedor's victims:

jk about that last one. Let me guess what your brilliant response is going to be: "all those guys suck and are overatted". I'm going to concede that they have all seen better days, but when Fedor fought them they were all at the top of their game.

Once again look at GSP's resume, it says it all! He avenged his 2 losses in a big way, and completely dismantled Thiago Alves, a guy who many people thought would take out gsp. All im saying is, look at fedors last 2 fights. Silvia and Arlovski, it kinda says something when a former boxer  knocks silvia out in 15 seconds and Brett Rogers knocks out Arlovski in a little oer 20 seconds. Makes you think doesnt it?

And for those people arguing about Machida p4p #1: as an absolute Machida nuthugger I can guarantee that he will be one day, but as of right now he can't even be in the discussion. If he can take out Shogun, Rampage and one more top flight guy(Franklin, Cane, etc.) then we could start talking, but until then let's just let our boy earn his stripes first.
