It will never affect me as I am platinum 
I hear it wont affect Gold either
If you want to park there to walk down the strip and not eat, drink or gamble at the casino, then they should be compensated.
If you are gambling eating or drinking then there should be no charge
Im sure they will have a system in place that will get customers a refund if shey show a reciept or proof they were there to actually gamble
