My Vegas In-Game June 25th - June 30th (WYNN)

NYY, no problems...
 
Rehab was amazing, so many hot chicks, and overall a cool time.
 
I couldnt win for shit on blackjack..after my first session, i only had 2 other winning sessions, and I played for a total over over 10 hrs according to my card during the trip.
 
Pure pissed me the fuck off on Friday night. We all went and basically were on some line that had no structure and was a huge funnel. WE said fuck it and left. half of my crew didnt even go to bed the night before.
 
I won some $ betting baseball which was nice.
 
I won $63 on my $100 free slot play from the Wynn.
 
I really drank too much but never had a hang over.
 
I regret not going up and down the strip, but the weather was so hot during the day to even bother.
 
WEnt to the pool thurs-sat morn so got some nice color. Pool at the Wynn is nice.
 
Im sure the Wynn will send me some good stuff for next year maybe, incase I go back, which eventually I will.
 
I just felt like my trip was too focused around dinner/going out after to party.
 
Thurs night was dinner at Wynn buffet then Tryst
Fri night was dinner at Zeferino's in the Venetian, then Pure (which worked out badly)
Sat night was dinner at Tao, club at Tao. Oh yea, for some reason I was hammered before dinner since I played some BJ before hand and drank a ton, that I got mad at the Tao night club (still nots ure why) and walked back and gambled some more on BJ and won another couple hundred). I think was mad a lot on this trip!
Sun was Rehab til early evening then Bs'ing around...
 
overall good times...guess u cant do everything you want each time, but Im glad i checked out the Rio and what not...its sure a sight there for the WSOP

i went in march but lived the college kid budget.. nice to live thru some1 else in the life of luxary. wynne is a tad nicer then the excalibur even though we loved our trip

Saw Jim Boeheim standing outside the poker room for a while. I think his name was on the list. Went up to him and shook his hand, told him he was a great coach. Seemed fairly receptive.
 
I think the craziness of Vegas might be getting me sick (cold).

My buddy saw Sam Cassell and Paul Pierce in Bellagio and they pushed him to the side when he went for a high five saying "nice job on the championship"

I buy in for $200 and hope to bullshit for a while, have some fun and play 15-30 a hand. I couldnt have been hotter. Regret not playing more than 35 a hand at times. After 1:45 mins I finished up $335 which was really good as I didnt touch more than 35 a bet and my avg bet was probably 25 over the course of the time. Buddy of mine, same kid who lost $2000 early in the AM bounced back and put $250 on the table, got it up to $2050. So he did well for himself. He was kinda a prick to the dealers in a way but they were assholes. They acted like we HAD to tip them some extraordinary amt. I tipped like $10 bucks over the course of the time, and my buddy did like $30. Sorta bitchy.
 
Tried to find out what my points were for playing. long story short I found out they avg'd me at $100 a hand for that 1:47 time period I played. Should at least have a buffet with that. Really nice here.
 
probably heading to Tao late tonight after potential beer pong at O'Sheas.

Hope the hoes are live tonight!!!! Vodka and tonics till failure....

Let me ask you something, in all seriousness, how much is one supposed to tip a dealer then? I see many people not even tipping. If i am screwing up, id like to know, but please, dont bash me like that as maybe I am unaware of misuse.

I also let the dealer play with me sometimes so im sure it was more than $10

Well, the dealers are there to make money too. I would suggest that you tip them when, more so when you'e winning. You can put up a bet for them next to your bet(I'm sure you've seen this before), at the top of te betting area. If you win the hand, they win the bet you put up for them, with the house matching that bet. May I suggest doing it when you're winning. Also, for each bet that you bet for them, put that same amount on your bet. Ex: You bet $50,put a $5 chip bet for them. Put a $5 chip on your hand. So, if you win, the dealer makes $5. The $5 you put up for them is covered on your bet. Basically, the tip you put up for them is covered on your hand. You could do it until you lose. Like I said, it's best to do it when you're winning. Also, if you get good advice on playing hands from the dealers, then it should go without saying that you should take care of them. You are going to get more comps if you take care of the dealers.

 I usually do that, play some for the dealer. I was playing predominantly 15 buck hands as I was by the pool and just buying time, so its not like I was playing 50+ per hand. I just wasnt too happy about the way you jumped on me for that. I appreciate this response a lot more.

Cool, Crus. Sorry if I was a little harsh in my initial post. As a dealer myself, I know exactly how it goes down in the industry. It's good to be kind to the dealers. They certainly(most anyway)appreciate it.

I have played a lot of BJ over the years and almost always tip the dealers, waitresses and room maids well.
 
My motto is: never screw the little guy.
 
About the only time I get pissed is when one of the old hag women dealers at Caesare's is acting like she is my mother ( I am now almost 50, so that tells you how old they are).
 
Since Kodiac is a dealer you also understand how us long timers are not as thrilled about the current comp point systems versus the relationship we used to have with the hosts.
 
Everybody is just a stat now, and this is a dissincentive for us players to be nicer guys.
