no offense, man, i'm sure you have a better take than what you wrote......
but you did predict a "HUGE SELL-OFF," but don't make any predictions of how much or when other than "near future."
basically, you really hedged yourself pretty good with that type of qualifier, man.
it's like if the north-east US weatherman predicts before every winter that there will be a big snow storm but doesn't know when or how many inches.
...............not a very tough prediction to make.

hey, no offense taken. and i'll be honest with you, i probably didn't have the knowledge to give a more quantifiable prediction for an amount or timeline. and i certainly didn't see this sell-off happening these past couple of days. i'm pretty much a novice when it comes to investing, and i generally buy and hold for the long run. i thought that we'd continue our run to 15,000, creating this huge bubble that will eventually burst. and i was waiting till we hit that point so i could dump some of my positions. but i was wrong, and have gotten crushed the last two days. when i said "near future", i was thinking sometime in the next few months, as long as the DJIA would reach 15,000.
