Interesting article

I dont always care for the Street.com junk, but they make some good points and some thoughts I had about ENCY. First is that managment hasnt stated why in the past the FDA didnt approve, rather getting the "approvable" letter which means more data. Second is that the GENZ competitor has more advantages and is with a stronger company and third is the stock is up 77% from the lows.

This is more risky than DNDN fellas.......

i just read this thought i would share ....

A few post ago, I say I am going to go long on ENCY but

I just change my mind.
I just sold my entire 30,000 shares of ENCY.
The reason is because I just found out ENCY had orphan drug status,but
so does Gilead Ambrisentan.

So only one drug can be approved by FDA due to 7years exclusivity of
the Orphan Drug policy.

That is why the FDA grant Ambrisentant priority review and the date is
only 3 days from Thelin.

I just bought 3,000 shares of GILD instead.

Well that is true but I am STILL rooting for Grinder with the trade and think he is fine with the cushion on the CCs, but if the FDA doesnt approve I imagine the stock will be in trouble for quite some time.

The risks of biotech stocks are huge...

Gave in and bot a 25% position in POZN..enough of this waiting for a dip, if it goes lower I buy more to get a full position.

One other comment...I bet the lock up ENCY all day tomorrow. No way are the markets going to let it trade on expiration day...

Close looking decent for ENCY..come on approval!

I tried to get cute with the GOOG theory, put in for 10 contracts at 6 when the option was at 6.20 bid..no luck since then.

i think ency is gonna have some good news the fda only delays the announcement when its an approval.

This is crazy i mean how can they do this? it should have to be approved now... i think the likely hood of them waiting till sunday to approve both is very possible.

Im hanging tough, not too much going on with it right now...maybe after hours but that seems screwy.  Oh well, it is what it is.  I think its gonna get approved, i have no basis for that just a good feeling. HA!

just to update i was looking for a good buy in pt to buy my shares but it kept dumping off so i never ended up getting my 3 k shares but best of luck to grinder. Watching it go down this fast scared me away
it may be market manipulation but no way for me. i just bought more pozen i guess i am willing to go down in flames with that. but not this . gl grapefruit

GILD got approved, nothing from ENCY but it doesnt look good.

Even without the news the stock is down in after hours.

ENCY does NOT get approved, rather the approvable letter..

well u got the covered call i would wait the stock price will rebound as it was hit too hard. then u will not lose much i would wait till the call expires worthless stock was hit to hard and will only rebound

If you had extra cash you might "double down" and when the options expire you can roll them into a longer strike..

Definately the worst case scenerio happened..

yeah, at least "only" 500 shares.  I was thinking of going larger since it seemed too easy. LOL   Thats why its called gambling I guess.  These bio's run up and down all the time, i think i will wait for it to catch a little run and sell more calls.

Okay, got 1000 shares now with 500 covered against the 5.00 july's.  Now with these other 500 should I write out some 2.50's or wait for a little bounce then sell some when premiums inflated a little.  My cost basis is pretty low in these now.

Actually, I was thinking should I just buy back the july 5's that I sold and then I can sell new ones against 1000 shares.  I think I have to buy back the 5's even though they are wortless because im only approve for level 1. 
 
Then I could sell 10 of the july 2.50's or aug 2.50's
