SPA Race 2 

#3 So Enchanting ran a nice closing 3rd after being away for 10 months & should like the extra distance. Also gets a jock upgrade from Prat to Irad. On the downside, she's been the beaten favorite in her last 3 but I like her current 4-1 odds.

She broke well, went to the rail while the speed set the pace & Tyler went gate to wire on #4 while #3 closed well for 2nd to lose by a head @7-2. Thought Irad was going to catch him but the wire came up too fast.

Paid $5.40/$3.80

SPA Race 3

This is a tough one to cap with recently claimed horse going for the new owners or their 2nd race off the claim. #'s 3,4,5,6, & 7 fall into this category.

Trainer Diodoro has #3 who won his last @ Churchill. #4 just missed last time out & goes a half furlong longer here. #5 won last time out & moves up. #6 ran 2nd to #6 in the slop last time out & #7 goes for the 2nd time after being claimed. Anyone can win this one.

Storms are pounding us here in SFLA & my DISH has been out for over 30 minutes. Our power company (FPL) just finished burying their lines underground about a month ago so we still have power.  

Just in case you are not aware. TVG (on line) does a great job presenting horse racing.

SPA Race 6 we have a number of 1st time starters with nice breeding & well bet colts who lost in their initial tries. 

Johnny V is ice cold 0 for 20 at the meet so far & is on # 6 here. This race is wide open.
