Jorge Abreu (47%), Steve Asmussen (41%), Michelle Nevin (41%), Mike Maker (40%) and Wesley Ward (40%) are the  top-5 most reliable trainers with Saratoga chalk. Surprisingly no Pletcher, Maker or Cox.

Just a little tidbit for your SPA capping.

Cox generally makes very little impact with Saratoga maidens. Of course, his barn is growing and things are always subject to change.

Regarding Asmussen, his second-time starters shipping in from Churchill are always worth a look. They traditionally do pretty well.

Abreu tends to offer good value with grassy maidens, and his firsters are always worth a look on both surfaces.

The Finger Lakes shippers coming out of cheap claimers always find a way to grab a race or two at very large odds its seems to me at the Spa. 

Other thing i always seem to notice is entries running 1st and 2nd taking all the place pays.
