Opening Day @ Kentucky Downs

Check out the purses today attracting Churchill jocks/trainers. My noy Tyler has already won 2 of the first 3 races & I like him in Race #4 with $9 High Moon Rider for Saffie Joseph.

Ya gotta see them running uphill in the stretch on the grass.

My play seemed to have some traffic problems but #3 was the best in the race.

Race 5 #1 raced greenly 1st time out getting 2nd for Bridgemohan/Cox; #3 out of Kitten's Joy firster with Javier/Maker; #5 for Ward was the beaten fave last time out @ GP; #11 was another beaten fave running 3rd; #12 was well bet but a disappointing 10th for Mike Maker.

I can't let a Kitten's Joy firster go without a play but we had a bad ML of 15-1 & other players see what I see & have bet him down to 5-1 on the first tote flash.

I've never seen this before.....the starter opened the gate before #6 & #12 were loaded into the gate.

Race 6 I like #12 in his 2nd race after a layoff with a big jock upgrade to Geroux from Coa.

Race 7 interesting to see both #1 & 2 going shorter here for Cox and Clement respectfully.

3 great jocks ...Javier, Tyler & Geroux...Javier had the lead, gave it up to Tyler who gave it up to Geroux finishing 1-2-12

Race 8 #6 ran a real nice race at first asking but has been pounded down to 3/5 and there are a couple of nice fillies in 4-5-10-13 that I think can beat her.

But which one?

#4 has the Javier/Ward/Ramsey connection; #5 has Bridgemohan/Cox; #10 has Geroux/Cox & Johnny V picks up the mount on #13 because Cox has Geroux on #10.

Boxing 4-5-10-13 & a cya of tri key 6 with 4510 & 13 just in case Clement has a good one in #6

6-13-12-10 just missed the tri when #10 was passed at the wire by #12

I guess Clement does gave a good one in #6 Plum Ali & that gives Tyler 3 winners on he card. Love that kid; tries every race & never mails it in.

Race 9 I think #7 Mandita has a good shot in here for Team Valor. Love the sneaky good trainer Arnaud Delacour. Currently 22-1

Good race settling for 2nd @ 21-1. Almost had a nice bomb here boys and girls.

Race 10 #9 got into a tight spot in his last & probably would have won. Johnny V gets up on this 2 yr old colt.

Got beat at the wire by #4 which paid $90.00; Johnny V ran 2nd on #9 & #3 ran 3rd.
