Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park - 2/9

2nd at 9/1.  place paid good.

this is so frustrating.  that was the one boys.  a perfect situation for a pace duel going the demanding distance of 7/8ths and a horse with solid recency cutting back from a one turn mile, getting Javy again, and in the position to nail them all with plenty of gas in the tank late.  looked like he would easily mow them down seemed like Castellano waited forever to let him go

played that at 1.75 units total oh well.  top play of the day.

santa anita 5

6/1.  pattern, distance.  this piece of crap hasn't yet shown he totally sucks like the rest of them.  jumped up on the drop and the move to two turns gets a little more ground here. 

gulfstream 11

8/1.  pace, speed.  huge, huge jump in class.  taking a shot he can slip away and improves off of his two races which were very strong sandwiched around a dud.  prado better have his behind relatively close and just try to go all in at the top of the stretch.

5th or 6th.  tried to steal at the top of the lane.  faded like a POS.

fu&^$%s hit him down you as$%^*&s.  nice horse he just cruised right out in front and took off and dusted the field in the G1 Donn Handicap

liked that race at GP and then two months of strong drills and more learning hell this was only his 4th spin.

always prefer to win on my bigger bets and lose on the smaller ones....keeps the bankroll alive longer!

8/1.  recency, pace, late speed.  jumps up the ladder but is sharp and a few off the pine here or no pace.  two of her three spins down the hill she had trouble and bonehead jockey on turf.  i'll give her a shot she's moving well late as of late. 

5th or 6th.

just fade me if mcclaughlin has two that look legit.  if i fade him he wins if i play him they run up the track.

not relevant to this horse just anecdotal evidence for myself.

sexy connections got all the play on the tote and they looked pretty iffy to me layoffs, pace, late speed.

4/1 on the tote.  recency (reverse recency), pace, speed, pattern.  reverse recency at play here he has the legit experience then a break and some stamina building drills for the comeback.  i'll fade baffert's firster i don't like him if he beats me oh well.  4 and 6 potential surprise packages.  don't like 5, 7, 3 or 2, 8, and 9.

8/1 ml.  pattern, recency, pace distance.  very plump field size and pretty wide open though i see them hitting the 1 a lot at the windows.  this 4 has had various forms of trouble in damn near all of his races but last out off the pine looks like he perked up a bit and started moving well late.  i'll take a shot with him but this puppy is very wide open.  i also like the snappy drills since the last.  tough one.  0.80 units.
