Above is what is nailing a race:

More likely scenario is there is a hot contested pace CC sits 3rd-5th and if he is healthy he wins for fun but if Espinosa pushes his buttun and gets no response Kid Cruz or Ride on Curlin will be flying down the stretch and one if not both will be there.

Not to mention the Preakness is the worst betting day of the 3 triple crown races. i won all the bets i made and still didnt make money(if general arod doesnt get stopped cold by the terrible filly i probably wouldve made a little), so seriously if people wanna pat themselves on the back for having a 3-5 fave go right ahead. But i will always search for value which is why i will always try to beat short priced faves.

Belmont Day is my favorite of the 3 days and the card this year is the best day of NA racing outside of the Breeders Cup. i already have my horses in mind for the Belmont and the build up and anticipation of a possible triple crown combined with the phenomal card should make for the best day of racing this year!

Let us know those quality undercard value picks....gotta love those earlier graded races

couldn't agree more with the weak low Preakness payouts ..

What was even funnier Pimlico was back to simulcasting South American track just 2 races after Preakness

Looks like the greatest single non-Breeders Cup day ever. 10 stakes races, so likely race 3-12. Two all stakes pick 4s, all stakes pick 6, all stakes pick 5, rolling pick threes, etc. There will be huge money in the pools like Breeders Day.

And it looks like we will know almost all the horses with very few invaders.

And if the past is any indication, there should be a few bombs away.

I'm probably over thinking this race because CC is a beast and should win easily. But, I got to thinking why does the trainer mention the throat blister? It can't be seen and if it hasn't changed his daily routines why even mention it? He may be giving the horse an excuse if he loses before the race is run.

If Bayern gets the early lead (which will be high doubtful) easily and the pace is slow it could hold on but in looking at it's fractions during all of it's races it has had slower paces at times and couldn't hold on. Because he has had extra time to rest and it is a 1/16th shorter than Derby it could hold on.

Oh and i was being sarcastic when i said i couldnt find your picks because i didnt look for them because i dont care who you pick or what you bet. There are only a handful of posters on here whose opinions and analysis i respect and you will never be one of them.
