You want THE TRUTH? I want you to ask me ANYTHING.
Whats the best dive or snorkle sight you've ever been to and do you like Margaritas blended or on the rocks...salt or no salt?
As a kid I grew up loving the water. Sometimes in CT that isn't easy because you can have 58 degree water in August. Doesn't bother me... I'M THERE!!! In High School my friend Jim begged me to go diving in Long Island Sound so I went for the first time. That's just me, I'll usually try anything once. So much equipment I had to rent it was unbelievable. No wonder why Jim couldn't get anybody to go. He had his own equipment but must of cost me $100.
If Jim told me once, he told me a thousand times, we use the buddy system with NO EXCEPTIONS. For those of you unfamiliar with that terminology it means you stay together at all costs. You NEVER lose sight of each other. We dove in about 40 feet of water and the visibility was terrible. Ten feet maybe? Outside of seeing a bunch of Porgy fish it was nothing spectacular. But there is something special about being outside your normal realm and I did really enjoy it but that was the only time I dove.
Snorkeling was something I also enjoyed. A couple weeks each summer were spent on Rangeley Lake in Maine. The south end of the lake was shallow and known for perch and pickerel. This meant a lot of hung up lures on logs. Easy pickings and we could fill three tackle boxes!
You guys know I hate the Corporate Fukks™ and will do anything I possibly can to patronize the small local business owner. But I cannot stay away from Chili's. I am a sucker for their margaritas. Frozen Blended Lime with Salt. Are there people who drink these WITHOUT salt? REALLY???

Who makes you nauseated on Covers forum every time you read their commentary???
scalabrine because he can be such a polarizing figure. Many times he makes such outlandish claims he actually hurts his cause by talking TOO MUCH. Anybody work in sales? It's possible to have the sale made and then talk yourself right past it and lose the sale. You have to know when to SHUT UP and scalabrine will NEVER figure out that simple fact.
Who do you despise #1
Without a doubt, and it's not even close, it's Ganda. At one time this clown was in the Covers Help Forum 100 times a day whining about one thing or another. I really believe he had delusions of one day being offered a moderator position. Just a whining sissy imbecile RAT who can lately be found in the Soccer Forum.
Who would you like to see banned immediately???
Believe it or not... NOBODY. In my 15 years here on Covers I've seen so many really great posters get banned. Too bad because it had the overall effect of weakening this Site.
Who's the biggest liar in the Covers forum???
This is something that tends to change from week to week and month to month. I detest posters who lie about the size of their wagers like it's Monopoly Money. What is the purpose? And it can confuse other gamblers as to how important that wager really is to that particular poster.
Lately I have been feuding with I_Need_A_Detox in the Politics Forum. Ever hear the term "He lies by omission"? That's what he does. When you "Cherry Pick" your facts but leave other facts out of your statements, well, that's telling a lie. More on this later because I_Need_A_Detox has a question pending.

I can't smoke it any more due to lung issues so I now use edibles or Simpson oil ......Have you ever tried Simpson oil?......Lets say a package of edibles is listed at 100 mg......How much of it would you eat?....Me, I would eat only 5 mg.....My tolerance level has become very low, then again I am way older than 61.
Simpson Oil is commonly used for cancer treatment and like anything else edible you should start gradually and increase the dosage. Everyone is different but a friend of mine fighting ovarian cancer eats no more than 60mg a day because of the sleep effect. Too bad you can't smoke because 10mg painted on a joint is heaven.

Who cuts your hair????
A guy named Omar. Came over from Egypt just before the 2001 Terrorist attacks. Has worked his azz off over here and finally got to bring his wife and two daughters here in 2009. Trying to live the American Dream. Now, THIS is how you get news. Don't tune into CNN or Fox News and their agenda BS. Get it from REAL PEOPLE who have connections and keep their ears to the ground. 99% of Americans would think Egyptians hate us. They would be wrong. Because of people like Omar other Muslims get reports from him about the USA, about what a great country we are, and how they should strive for opportunity and respect our country.

do you still wank the woody ?
Once in a while in front of Wifey. She's a little kinky like that so who am I to complain? If I don't do it for her she might look elsewhere. ALWAYS do what your woman wants in the bedroom and you'll have no problems. I do, however, draw a VERY STRICT line... She, no other woman, or any man is coming at me with a Strap-On or Peckerhead of any kind!!!

Throughout our lives we all experience a great deal, both ups and downs. Some of those experiences are in many cases very difficult to reveal or even recall.
What was your darkest hour MB?
No response is acceptable. certainly not here.

....I would add that most people never get a chance to answer questions like that, or most others. Typically have to pay 200.00 an hour.
Covers is a good place still, especially among the longtimers. Pretty unique group.

Does this dress make me look fat?
Hahaha. Leave it to Hawk to come up with the "impossible to answer correctly" question. I KNEW it would be you Hawk, just KNEW it!!!
But I got that covered...
"Honey, there's a reason I married you. You look great in anything and after 30 years I am proud to be seen with you anywhere".
Putty in my hands!

Does your wifey know that you once posted a picture of her T!TS for all the Covers degenerates to take a gander at?
You seem to be fascinated with that pic.
Yes she does. I do not keep any secrets from my wife. I will tell her which team I bet if the game is on TV but I will not tell her the amount wagered.
Hey, I was BLITZED (a lot more than usual) when I posted that pic. I think the Mods liked it too because it took them like three hours to take it down.
That was a couple years ago so she was 49. I think it's a damn nice rack for a woman her age. I especially like her nipples. Don't you think so?

What ever happened to the rose bush/fence issue you were pissed about here with neighbor? Ever bring it up at anger mngt. meetings? I mean ya gotta talk about something there huh? Ever asked the person in charge if the same garbage happened to him/her WTFWYD?
The whole GC thing..you offered help/ advice the way I see it as a lot of other people did here also..would like to hear more details as well.
The house was sold this past summer. One of the things I try to do, believe it or not, is surround myself with sensible people. My realtor, who I have known forty years, convinced me that a large wall would seriously decrease the value of the property. He was absolutely correct. Accepted a very reasonable offer and moved on. One less biatch gone from my life and one more step towards Belize.
Anger Management is a pain in the azz. Every Monday night for an hour and a half. Still have three months to go. Not a bad deal considering I was facing jail time. This is run by the State Court system so I choose my words carefully. I am the only White dude there and also the oldest. There's a message there somewhere. LOL.
I've already talked quite a bit about CG but try to give me more specific questions and I'll answer.

Why do hard core PRO union peeps support candidates and the party that is the ruin of high paying jobs?
Not sure I understand your question and even if I did you're asking the wrong guy. I was a Teamster for 20 years and had a very high paying job in a grocery warehouse. Worked the Night Shift and was in the top 5 seniority so basically got to choose my job every night. Forklift, Truck Loader, Product Selection, anything I wanted to do. This high paying job allowed me to save a ton of money, purchase my first house and vested me in Pension. These days young workers don't get SH!T. It ALL goes to the top where the CEO's count their money inside their gated communities.

being your 1st wife was a super model, did you ever stray from your lair?
Call me dumb if you want but I am far from stupid. Something was going on so I was very well prepared. Had a miniature recording device placed behind a picture in the kitchen next to the wall telephone. This way I had her phone conversations recorded BUT the telephone itself was not "tapped" so it was completely legal.
She made arrangements to leave for the beach one weekend to visit her boyfriend and I had a Private Detective follow her every move. The divorce cost me 55% of my house but I got away with ZERO alimony. Completely unheard of in those days when a wife was "unemployed".
To answer your question, my attorney highly suggested that I do NOTHING until the divorced was finalized. Then it was game-on!!!

Goose, since you are kindly taking political questions as well, did you vote for Hillary in the 2016 election?
No, I did not vote for Hillary. I did not vote for Trump. I voted for Gary Johnson, IN PROTEST. Living and voting in CT it was pretty much a given that Clinton would carry the State very easily. So NOBODY give me any sh!t, I'm not responsible for anything that happens, because I voted for Johnson.

Goose, did you ever meet College Gambler in person?
No. Never met CG in person. Just talked on the phone. He never threatened me in any way and I never felt intimidated by him in the least. From what I remember of his videos he didn't look too big. But, as the saying goes, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog".

How about one that is impossible because you don't know WHY?
If you don't know WHY something happened and there is no way you will ever know WHY it happened... it haunts you forever.
What was your darkest hour MB?
I tried to write it Ricky but couldn't get through it tonight.
I'll try again tomorrow.

I would ask a follow up.... What is something interesting about CG that the rest of us might not know? Nothing personal - but is there anything about his journey that he or you think the rest of us misunderstand?CG really, and I mean REALLY, detested his job on the East Coast. There was NO WAY he was staying at that job. It wasn't his boss or the other people he worked with it was just a menial dead end job. Some people are content to work within four walls to earn a paycheck and pay the bills, never looking for advancement. That was NOT CG. He was leaving one way or the other. When he first got to Vegas he used to tell me ALL THE TIME how he felt a heavy weight had finally been lifted from his shoulders. Which, I mean, sounded a little strange because he had zero guaranteed income with living expenses now and it just didn't faze him in the least. He honestly believed he had nothing to worry about and he could hit 55% picks in his sleep. When he made the videos (too bad these are gone forever because they were priceless) yes he sounded extremely cocky and headed for a long fall off a tall horse. The videos and the Covers Thread were completely different than my telephone conversations. The videos and Thread were more like some kind of WWF act. On the telephone he would talk like a regular guy. Sometimes, in fact, very humble. He would talk about how he missed his family, Mom and cousins. Just a regular guy. He would talk about how he liked to cook for himself, how ridiculously expensive the Vegas restaurants. So in many ways, although he was very cocky in the Thread, on the telephone he sounded quite sane and very grounded. There is another thing you might not have realized about CG. He was VERY confident and NOT wish-washy about ANY of his picks. When he made his picks... THAT WAS IT. And he always made his OWN picks. He'd ask me who I was playing that night but he NEVER allowed anybody else to influence his handicapping. If there was one thing I admired about CG that was it because if you can't believe in yourself what else is there in life?
Great answer. Thanks.

What was your darkest hour MB?
Ricky I tried to write this last night and just couldn't work my way through it. By far this is the most darkest and depressing event of my life and still haunts me forty years later.
It was the best of times. My Senior year of High School was a breeze. My best friend Bill lived in one of the nicest mansions in town. His father was a big VP at Aetna Insurance. Four car garage to work on cars and we rebuilt his 69 GTO and our bud Brian's 67 Vette to be the sweetest cars in town. If anybody in school needed car work, we were the go to guys.
On Bill's property was also a stable that housed their six horses. Let me tell you, in case you don't have a clue, horses are BABE MAGNETS. Better than money, better than cars, better than drugs, horses are the best. We didn't play sports, had no extracurricular activities, so we took babes double back riding after school and worked on cars at night.
After graduation Bill was heading back to Texas to take care of family business and I had already been accepted at Bentley College in Boston. We were both In Like Flynn and life was great.
Back on the other side of town in my neighborhood there were a couple Juniors and Sophomores who had a rock band and they were good. They were VERY GOOD. The Lead Guitar Randy was excellent. Peter on Keyboards was phenomenal. "Goober" on Bass and "Sticks" on Drums were OK. But the Straw that Stirred the Drink was Brett, the Rhythm Guitar and Front Man. Now what caught my interest was they played tunes I actually liked... ALLMAN BROTHERS!!! "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", "Whipping Post", "Rambling Man". HEELL YEAH!!!
So I started hanging more with these guys. They looked up to me because I was older and Brett would take my advice on tunes. I would help with the roadie work and of course all summer long we partied our azzes off. Even hooked Brett up with an old bakery truck that Bill fixed up to haul their equipment.
Well, all good things eventually must come to an end. Bill was headed for Texas, me to Boston, and the band still stuck in High School. Not that far for me to drive so I used to come back every couple weeks. Life moves on, right?
Decided to stay in Boston one weekend instead of coming home. Peter gives me a call on a Sunday morning and tells me Brett is missing. "WTF you talking about, missing?" "Well he never came home last night". "So what? He's shacked up with some babe and will probably come stumbling home today. Talk with you later".
Monday, still no Brett. Tuesday, still no Brett. Ok, now I'm a little concerned. Just not like Brett to blow everybody off, miss school and not even show up for band practices.
The Police found Brett the next weekend. Suicide. He stuck a shotgun in his mouth and blew his head off.
Nobody knew WHY. WHY WOULD HE DO THIS? When I got the news I just sat in my dorm room and sobbed for hours. There were no warning signs. No signs of any trouble. WHY???
Then I start thinking, what if I had come home that Friday night instead of staying in Boston? Would it, could it have not happened? Sounds silly but I KNOW there would have been a Friday night practice if I was there. No, I know it's silly to think things could have been different but still these thoughts run through your mind when you lose a friend by suicide.
The most difficult part is NOT KNOWING WHY. WHY, WHY, WHY did Brett do this??? Forty years later and still have no answers. Never will. And that HAUNTS THE HELL out of me for the rest of my life.
That, was my darkest hour.

Yes, let's move on. I lost count. Probably 8 or 9 but always small issues. Few domestics with wife # 1. Bar fights. Disorderly. C'mon, pissing in public? Really??? When you gotta go, you gotta go. Hopefully get a woman Judge for that because they know better.
WHATEVER YOU DO... try not to get arrested on a Thursday or Friday because, guess what? You ain't making bail and it's going to be a LOOOOONG WEEKEND.
Never talk to Police. There is absolutely NOTHING you say that can help. It can only hurt you. Be polite... "Listen officer, I really don't want to comment right now and would really prefer to talk to my attorney".
