Hoopsstar,
The problem is that you assume that because I am against white-trash wellfare parasites and the liberals who support them that some how I must be ignorant and uneducated... But if those lazy trailor trash would just get a job instead of waiting for their disability claim to come through for the government to pay off their debt and bail them out, perhaps social security would not even be an issue in this country...
Get an education, get a job, work, make money... Why is it that it is so hard for the white trash under belly of society to understand this... look at the numbers, most of the social security/wellfare dollars that goes to the ignorant white trash that are bringing this country down... Irony is that you call me racist but these trailor trash low lifes are the most racist people out there...
It is time to cut the fat... literally... as these turkey pot pie/Mcdonalds eating parasites are also the morbidly obese population of this country and now with Obama and universal health care, I will have to pay for their medical bills for their not only their false claims to get their pain medication, but their real problems with their being morbidly obese such as diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood preassue, COPD, and lung cancer from the cigarettes...
So it does not matter if McCain or Obama won, we all lose because of the real problem of these people in our country... Its not racist, it is simply and observation of reality while others talk politics...

I could be wrong, but I think that the house edge on -110 bets is 4.54% and the house edge on -105 bets is 2.38%. If I make two $110 wagers, win one and then lose one, I would be at a net -$10. I made $220 worth of wagers and lost $10, so dividing 10 by 220 the result is 0.04545. I checked wizardofodds.com which is a fairly reliable website for house edge % on various casino games and it has the same results. The house edge on a -102 wager is 0.98%.
It's possible that we have a different definition of what "house edge" means. To me it means that with a house edge of 4.54% on -110 wagers a bettor needs to be successful on 52.27% of his wagers in order to be breaking even (assuming he is a flat bettor).
You've been the biggest advocate I've seen on various sports-betting message boards of the importance of offshore reduced-juice betting---I couldn't agree more. Even some fairly smart message board handicappers seem perfectly willing to pay -110 juice all of the time which I just don't understand. The difference of 5 cents of juice is actually very similar to playing on a single-deck blackjack table where you can double down on any two cards, double down after a split is allowed, dealer stands on a soft 17 and a blackjack pays 3/2------compared with playing blackjack on an 8-deck table, double down only on 10 or 11, no doubling after a split, dealer hits on a soft 17 and a blackjack pays 6/5. The difference of the house edge on these two different types of blackjack is immense, just like the difference of -110 to -105 wagering is immense.
You already knew that, but probably about 98% of the gambling public doesn't seem to care. A Vegas sportsbook right in the middle of the Strip could start offering -105 lines on all sporting events and I'm not sure it would receive much more business from the general public than the -110 sportsbooks next door to it---especially if the -110 sportsbooks offered free New Orleans-style bead necklaces with every wager.
