If you have a week to recover before your exams, you should have nothing to worry about. You might be ok the next day. Either way, you will be able to study to get ready. Let us know how it turns out. When you are going in?

Haha no thanks bud you can enjoy them.  Hope you get 'em.  My doctor ended up being great, just good luck.  The 5mg's are perfect if you get them, because they are nothing dangerous or too strong, but at the same time you will be very happy that you have them.  You might miss them a little bit when your gone but it's not heroin, you'll get over it in a day.

haha yeah I here ya. Gutcheck, I am going in on Monday. I have a test on Wednesday that I have to take and then I'll have exams. But I think I should do alright. Hopefully this just fixes all the problems.

If you are doing it while awake.. ask for the dimerol/valium cocktail before.  thats what they gave me and I was in lala-land for the whole thing.. kinda sucks for 2 weeks afterwards you gotta drink soup liquids etc.. pack guaze in your mouth. etc...  I rememeber i would get a cheeseburger from mcdonalds and chew it with my front teeth. would take about an hour to eat 1

Just got back. Fucked up right now from the laughing gas. amazing. But thanks to spitfire, the vicoden trick worked and i got some good perks. shoutout to the spitfire

not to bad.. honestly when they gave me the propophol or whatever it relaxed me and shit but i was still awake. Then they started puttin shots and shit in my moouth and i was like fuck man Im still awake, so they gave me more. Even after than I did not go under. So i was awake for the entire thing, but still not much pain. I am starting to feel it right now though because I wanna eat and drink someting, but cant force myself to do it. Pain is kinda rough now. All 4 were impacted

Wow, this is great to hear So what kind of percs did you get? Pill Identifier  They might even be the good 5mg's, that have no acetominophen.  These are fantastic, because there is nothing in them keeping you from doing too much... except too much percocet I guess... if they are 5/500's three at once could be enough to make you sick to your stomach just from all the tylenol... but for someone who never takes opiates, even those tylenol ones taken throughout the day will add up quick and give you that nice warm buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Surgery of any kind is scary, just because of the unknown.  But the scariest part is just that, and you will probably continue to worry about it -- but when the day comes you'll have no problems.  Fuckin Tebow here was AWAKE I feel like I could not handle that... but once you have that gas and maybe some juices going in through an IV, you won't care what they are doing.  A lot of people don't like needles and dread just getting the IV as much as anything - you won't even feel it.  Chances are you'll be flying high by then anyway.

Ha, now that I think about the gas I didn't feel it at first either... I'm sitting there thinking 'god dammit work, when is this shit gonna do something, I'm still sitting here!  Knowing everything that's going------- zzzzzzzzzz '

Walk in.  Fall asleep before you know what hit you.  Wake up one second later feeling like a million bucks.... that's it for the procedure.... as the day drags on you start to realize that it does suck sitting there with gauze in your mouth... but the annoyance of sitting around with swollen cheeks is worse than the operation.  You'll be fine.  If you would just take my word for it, then you wouldn't have to worry about it for a week or so.

Worst 5 days of my life.  Mine were impacted and fuckers didnt even give me anything for pain.  Best part of whole thing was going in for referal and having dbag dentist ask if I wanted to be under for it?  Lets see cutting teeth out of my mouth, yeah I will choose not being awake.
The hardest part about a 2 week war is the first 4 years

mine was no sweat, 4 impacted, had it done at 26 y/o. I was on the golf course drooling with a copenhagen in my lip 3 hours later

Sorry for the late response guys because I have just woken up. I am in some pain now since all those fuckers were impacted, but really its nothing that I wanna kill myself over. Zamboni, dont sweat it man. If you dont mind me asking, how old are you? They say the older you are, the worse it gets. I am still only 20, so it wasn't too terrible. The worst part was me not falling asleep due to the medicine. I didnt feel anything, but just didnt fall asleep. It sucked. Spitfire I got 15 mg perks, but they do have acetaminophen. These should be great though since I reall dont do any pills. Got a solid buzz rocking right now, but honestly there is still some pain.

Damn son, 15mg's... look at you... 500mg of tylenol?  Damn.  For you, one should be enough to give you a pretty solid buzz.... 2 at the same time would be enough to get you downright stoned.  Damn.


I've always felt that with painkillers they really don't take the pain away, as much as they allow your mind to tolerate the pain.  You feel it, it is still pain... it just doesn't bother you as much because your mouth feels bad while everything else feels goood

You could not be more right. These things are pretty solid. I only took one and Im rocking a solid buzz. I still dont wanna eat or anything though because it just feels uncomfortable

Everyone is different.  Mine weren't that bad (I was completely KO'd) and I would go that route in a SECOND.

The key is to not get a dry socket.  The "holes" need to heal from the bottom up.  If a layer of skin heals over the "hole," that is a dry socket and 1. it will hurt like a mother. 2. they will need to take a scalpal to those, cut them open again, and then shove gauze in that has been covered with antibiotics.  Not fun.  My sister had that.

Do ecactly as they tell you in regards to post-op care.  I had a relatively easy time with it.  My sister's experience wasn't good at all.  So it depends on how invasive they need to be in order to get at them and remove them.  Good luck.

BINGO... I take 10/325's everyday and love em, love em, love em.

I want more but only get about 60 every 3 weeks.

The first time I got discharged from active duty I went through an out processing and they told us that the Army MUST give us full dental clearance so we should all take advantage and get something done... at least get our wisdom teeth taken out since it was gonna be free to us and most people get it done eventually.

Well... I had it done at the local Veterans hospital and they butchered me. I was pulling chuncks of teeth outta my gums for weeks. Within a day or so from the time of removal I had gotten yellow jaundice on my face. I was fine in the end but had to live through the bullshit caused by the rookie dentist that experimented on me.

Good thing I was still smoking weed at the time. It helped alot.

Thank you Skub. Thats funny though. My brother is in the ER and he says that the care there is just awful. He said they fuck everything up. Just think, thats how all of healthcare is going to be here in the US once all the healthcare is socialized.Big Big time trouble. Oh well. But thanks man, I think I should be good. Feelin money right now with some meds in me.
