I don't know why this is so hard for leftopaths. He isn't proposing to build a wall on the border of Mexico to stop overstayed immigrants on planes. The majority of unscreened illegal Mexican and Central American immigrants walk or are smuggled through by land at the border with Mexico. The wall isn't proposed to stop Cubans floating over to Florida, or French au pairs flying in on a work visa and staying too long.

Who the hell said it would do those things? When did someone say "Let's build a wall and everyone in our country will be well behaved and change skin color"? It's about screening people that want to come here (which was done to your ancestors I assume and mine), plugging a huge economic leak (even if unscrupulous businesses save in labor cost the money leaves the country), and enforcing borders without which a country is not a country (3rd grade social studies).

Dude I am not trying just to argue. Any reasonable person would acknowledge it's prudent to protect ur property if u have trespassers. Saying u might just move is not a valid answer since the USA citizens aren't going to just move to another country instead of enforcing it's borders and laws. Everyone knows u put up a fence or on large properties a wall. That isn't isolationism, that's dealing with it instead of moving away and running from ur problems. If a few guards and cameras worked great but it hasn't and fences and walls can't be bribed.
