I was fucked by that also, and i'm certain that it happened one other time but i can remember it.
About ten years ago, had Pittsburgh +4.5 in a Monday Night game in Jacksonville. Pit down by two lining up for a game winning field goal, kick is blocked and returned for a TD. Pit loses by 9.
About 12 years ago, had Buffalo +3.5 at New England. Buf up by 4, NE driving for a game winning score. After a phantom pass interference penalty in the end zone, NE scores a TD on the final play of the game. Everybody walks off the field and then a few minutes later the ref is frantically organizing NE to go for the extra point. All the Bills went to the locker room. NE snaps the ball to Vinatieri who walks in for the uncontested two point conversion. NE wins by four.

I remember this game. It was before I was into sports wagering so I didn't realize the full ramifications of what was going on. All I remember was the crowd going ape shit emploring them to go for two. At the time I thought it was just to rub it in for the Bills walking off the field. I really didn't realize how much money was about to change hands with that conversion.
Sorry that had to happen to you but it really is a great story.
