What was the first big concert you went too? And your last one?

Biggest for me was Concert for Bangladesh--1971.

My first concert I saw U2 at the Paradise in Boston. My last concert was U2 last night in Boston.
I like going to the Hampton Beach Ballroom Casino to see the older acts during the summer.....J Geils, Huey Lewis, and of course Eddie Money.

U2 at Red Rocks in Colorado 1982, anybody see it?

So busy thinking about the past, I totally forgot I've seen The Brian Setzer Orchestra Xmas Extravaganza last couple of years. Fabulous. Check it out on his website. Most tattooed bandleader in the country puts on a great show. Starts off in Minnesota (his wife is from there) and hits a lot of smaller, classic venues. Winds across the country, ending up in SoCal middle of December.

I saw Motley Crue when I was in HS... I recently took my boys to see Motley Crue

Saw Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer in MA about that time, 74 or 75.  Edgar brought his brother Johnny Winter out on stage for a few songs.  Very cool era to go to live concerts.  Police were told to stand down and you could smoke in the open.  As long as the crowd was mellow, so were the Cops.

I remember all the girls making a big fuss over Pretty Boy Rick Derringer.  hahaha

UFO - Chicago Stadium

Went to hear Simon and Garfunkel in early 60's and saw a poster for my favorite group playing 3 weeks later. On the night of the concert,my father dropped me off in front of Utica Memorial Auditorium I walked up and payed $5 for a floor seat for The Rolling Stones. The Aud was about half empty, Keith Richards was half-asleep,Mick was totally in control and they played a lot of blues covers cause they didn't have much of a playlist of their own. The Beatles at this time were just getting big and The Dave Clark 5 were much bigger then the Rolling Stones.

KISS. Love Gun Tour. August 27, 1977
The Forum, Inglewood CA.
I was 10 years old and sold. FN Ace Frehely! This was one of the concerts that was used for KISS Alive II recording.

Kiss 1975 ..........Camera Obscura 2014

Would've LOVED to have seen UFO.........McCready's tribute is excellent, but to see Michael Schenker live would've been a thrill.

1) Genesis( MLG) in Toronto, 1976  2) Last one was Willie Nelson( Massey Hall) 2014
