I have asked repeatedly for scientific studies and sources of the cutting edge global warming information.
I will ask once more:
1) Who is the most respected global warming scientist and organization?
2) What is the definitive work on the topic?
3) What constitutes a consensus validating climate change among the scientific community?
4) Why were derivatives markets specializing in the trade of carbon emissions already structured and developed before climate change advocacy hit its stride?
These are honest questions. I have an open mind on the subject, and will gladly review the most cited, relevant, quality material.
But the quantum leap from carbon and greenhouse gasses simply warming the planet to carbon emissions associated with industry being quantified and causing definite, specific, predictable events is one heck of an assertion.
And a google search gives me NASA as the preeminent authority on the subject as well as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. This chart is the "smoking gun."

Honestly, this is worrisome. A sample size of 140 years on a system that is over 4 billion years old (another scientific consensus). Seems a bit inconclusive and political.
