This is what helps give me perspective -- the why and the how. Thinking about that really boggles my mind. Much greater intellects have pondered this question with much more intensity and force than I ever could. The great part is no one knows. Scal is right, the vastness and emptiness of the universe is far beyond human comprehension. We can't even imagine the macro scales and distances we are talking about here.
Although if you want your mind to really be blown, go read about how matter acts on a quantum scale. THAT will make you realize that we, as humans, really have no idea about what the hell is going on in this universe.

Quantom mechanics is absolutely insane. There's so many examples but the one that sticks with me is the cat in the box theory (Schrodinger's cat). Inside a box is a cat, flask of poison and a radioactive source. If a monitor inside the box detects any radioactivity, the flask immediately shatters and the poison is released, killing the cat. can not believe that I forgot this one. Probably my single most thing that annoys me is...
People who smoke in front of their young children. I see it all the time. Smoking in the car when children are in it etc...
I have even seen some asshats standing next to their childs stroller whole smoking. You mean to tell me that you can not even walk 4 feet away to smoke? I get so pissed that I have actually called people out on several occasions.
Always get the annoying response of "mind your own business" or "do not tell me how to be a parent to my child". Fuck you.

Covers is loaded to the gill with these personality flaws. It is clear as day since I've been here in 2003. I'll use AD1260, Hutch, Wallstreet and CD for just top of the head examples. Both of these non selfish gentlemen are highly social. They respond to comments, ask a question and relate interest. Class.
