does god have something to do with whether a sick or dying person gets better?
I'm sure he could help, Jesus didn't just tell the blind man he can see, he made him do something (the mud) and then he could see. If you believe in God i think it makes sense to I think that God would be the biggest fan of medicine why wouldn't he be. If you believe God created everything well than the guy must really did science because it's everywhere

i mention tebow because the wearing god on his sleeve shit is extremely obnoxious and ignorant in my opinion. the guy's major flaw. other than that, i'm all for the guy.
here's where i'm coming from. denver wins and tebow comes out and says god this and god that and we're blessed and we pray and everyone is cool with it. the media encourages it. the christians love it.
imagine if you are this girl's parents. she prayed to god too in a situation somewhat more critical than week 14 against the bears but instead of a game winning touchdown, she gets a fuckin bullet to the brain and a tragically premature death. what about all of the other people who have real problems and pray to god and just continue to get shit on? how do they feel when they have to turn on the tv and hear how god said fuck you to their kid who was in a hostage situation that ended in an execution because god was too busy helping denver get to 8-5.
am i the only one who sees a problem with this?
C'mon man use your head.
That has got to be the most narrow minded way of thinking. There is no rule book on praying...honestly. If everyone got everything they prayed for than what would they learn?
Live Learn Die.
Don't be a whiney athiest. Do some psychedelics.

How do you know this? Because the media told you? Wasn't Sandusky known as a great man, who does the right things, lives a clean life and started a charity for boys without fathers? Wasn't Sandusky hiding who he really was? How do you know who Tebow really is?
Because he is my cousin

i asked what the point of living would be if you could not sin? why not create people with strings? you can't pray for something that goes against someones free will, if thats so hard to get idk what else to say, you don't have to agree with what i think but don't ask questions if you don't want an answer to what i think

my question was directed at sandman who said, if people got everything they prayed for, what would they learn?
are you swaying there would be no point in living if you can't sin? i still think there would be a point to living if i couldn't sin, although i do like sinning- gambling, drinking, occasionally using drugs, checking out other hot chicks although i'm married, whatever the hell else i do that some religious person says is a sin. but if you took those things away, i'm not sure i'm ready to kill myself.

So, was that the devil down in the center of the Earth answering Sandusky's prayers for another little boy to rape? Why didn't God step in protect the boys? Could Tebow have helped?

Sandusky is a born again christian with a sticker on his garage door that says, "Be still and know that I am God" -(Psalm46:10)

sysem have you not read the thread at all? the idea the whole time is that God has nothing to do with Tim Tebow winning a football game, i've never heard of anyone thinking otherwise.

I watched an hour long report about the life and death of Eve Carson last night on Headline News. For some reason It hit me much harder than other tragic stories have.I think it's because she was so gracious to others and had accomplished so much in the short time that she was given, that I can't help but think about not only her but all of the people who's lives would have been positively affected if she was still here.
I actually thought about her several times today and I can't ever recall thinking about a victim that I saw on tv the following day. This girl was special and didn't deserve four bullets and a shotgun blast to the face.
And for the record I find it highly entertaining when people are bothered by Tebow's public display of faith.
Tim Tebow (and I strongly disliked him when he was a Gator)
