Is this really considered unethical?  I got alot of heat last night slow rolling my quads, table was furious.  I don't give a fuck really this is all about money and in the situation if I didn't slow roll I wouldn't have won the amount of money I would have slow rolled.  Btw how the fuck can a move in a gambling game be considered unethical!?!?

It's considered bad etiquette but if it helps you win, so be it!

How does this help you win?  A card player of any skill at all isn't going to base their decisions on a stupid slow roll move.

It's a douch bag move.  The hand is OVER.  Show your cards and take the chips.

You paid your money, you play your chips how you want.  If the table didn't like it, they should not play.

It's comparable to a guy hitting a 450 ft home run that stands at home plate & admires it before he takes off on a slow jog around the bases..........

So is setting a "trap" considered a douche move? Cause this is what I basically did..

I was on the dealer button had pocket 4s early positioned raised $35 had 4 callers including me.  Hit the set on the flop man did a continuation  bet of $100 got a call and call from me. hit my quads...  The initial raiser bet again $100 other guy folded I thought about it for about 2-3 minutes then called.  Now at this point I have no idea what he had but he bet to me $200 I went all in for around $400-$500 he called he flipped Aces showed him my quads he just flipped out.

If I had more money he would have been felted..

... the only way I could think a slow roll could help you is if you think that people are going to buy your act of does my four pointing things beat your cards of all one color?  People will buy that act for like five minutes or less.  Congrats on your win all the same.

That is not slow rolling.  Slow rolling is when you are called or you call his play and you clearly have the winning hand but pretend that you don't when flipping the cards or just flat take a long a$$ time to flip your cards.  Basically it is like rubbing salt into the wounds of another player.  I see nothing wrong with what you did if what you rely is accurate.

what you did isn't slow rolling, you milked his ass and tricked him into thinking you were chasing.  If after the river, you took your sweet ass time to show him your quads, then that's bs, but from the sounds of it, you took your time on the turn to how him you were debating.

I did the same thing a year ago, when he flopped a boat and I flopped quad 5's (he had 6's and the flop was 6 5 5).

On the flop and turn I hummed to act like I was chasing the heart flush.

On the river when he went all in, I insta called and flipped over my quads.

If anyone got upset is b/c you may have been playing at a casino where they know each other and are buds or are just idiots.

    Congrats!

This is probably true.  If it is a regular you might have the whole table cheering for him (if they are not in the hand of course).  It happens.

It's not considered unethical but its a big time "fuck you" move. I've seen people almost get in fights at brick and mortar's over people slow rolling them (and IMO, rightfully so). Just show your fucking cards or muck them at showdown. No need to be all dramatic, no one is on TV.

Slow playing isn't the same as slow rolling in my eyes, it all depends on how you went about doing it

Yes slow playing is not a big deal really.  Especially if you have an ultra aggressive player that will bet your hand for you.  Slow Rolling however is fucked up, slow rolling is very different than slow playing.

Not unethical just an asshole move. Whats unethical is years ago at the main event 2 players were all in. They both prayed to God to win the hand. Jerry Yang who won it all might have been one of them.

    that wasn't slow rolling.

Slow rolling is all the money is in all the cards are out and you have the nuts.  And decided to wait a bit than flip your hole cards.  A REAL dick move is doing one card at a time.

Ive had this done to me and it sucks I would never do it to anyone even to tilt them its not cool.
