 I agree.  Even though Stump makes some ridiculous claims that are not backed up by statistics, his grammar and writing is excellent, and he is very civilized and open-minded.  

Unlike the pompous Scalabrine, Stump deserves no one's scorn or derision.

Warner Bros. is developing a movie about Michael Brown's death, according to a Hollywood trade publication.

The studio has acquired the rights to the memoir written by Lezley McSpadden, Brown’s mother, according to Tracking Board. The memoir is titled “Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil.”

What, are they trying to turn him into a martyr or something? They are going to make some over dramatized flick that isn't going to do anything to make relations between the black community and the blue community any better. It's just another example of the media being exploitive to make a buck. The studio will make some biopic (finger quotes) painting some b.s. picture of him being some angel who has his life cut short before it even gets started. "He had his rough times but he was turning around." The people like slob will counter that he was no angel. If anything he was a young devil. Then both sides will argue back and forth. And nothing will be solved. What a joke.

Warn A Brother Studios has yet to find a writer to adapt the book for the screen, however they are eager to hire a writer of color to "tackle this sensitive project."....

 I'll take the money and run. I'll donate some of it to the families of police officers slain in the line of duty. Maybe that'll be a step towards unity since none of these genius talking heads and rabble-rousers on TV never seem to have any suggestions on how to do it. It's too easy for them to say the same things over and over, everyday, and keep the sh#t pot stirred. They've probably never had an original idea in their lives.

You know, it's really shameful that these "martyrs" are becoming household names. We shouldn't ever know who they are or were. I'd be willing to bet there are more unarmed "pillars of the community" that are White and Hispanic who are shot each year by the police - but I defy ANYONE to name ONE (without an in-depth Google search).....

Unarmed no.  Butwhen I was in high school, there was a kid in the grade under me that was killed by the Po-lease.  White kid that was drinking booze all day and mixing it with Xanax.  Story was that he and his buddies were getting banged up all day and he started to get aggressive.

The kid that lived there called the cops and when they entered the home, he charged at the officer with some type of kitchen knife claiming beforehand that he wanted to "go out like a soldier."  (Funny that I remember that after all of these years).  Anyways, 2 guesses as to what happened next.

Sad thing is that the officer's son also attended the same school and was getting bullied b/c his father shot a teenager.  I didn't know either of them so looking at it objectively, I thought the officer was in the right as far as what was witnessed.  

Crazy stuff goes down in FL and I moved back to North Jersey as soon as I graduated. Here's the story

There's a mural of Freddie Gray in Baltimore. A convicted heroin dealer that likely caused his own death has a mural. 300 businesses were burned in the riots after the morons in charge of that failed city allowed the animals to burn & loot ("it's just property" - Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake uttered after telling the cops to stand down). The DNC had high hopes for her prior to this. Can you imagine the financial damage the riots caused to Baltimore's reputation? Not to mention the $8M the city gave to his heroin addicted mother. I'm sure Warner Bros. wants to do a movie about him as well.

It's the media. White people get killed by police, black people get killed by police. It's the way the media reports it that gets everybody riled up and causes them to choose sides.
