IMO this will be the end of JoePa at Penn State. Someone close to the program released this info because they know that it will ultimately lead to his resignation.

You can't blanket statement an entire institution because of the AD and a few people in the football program. Pretty unfair to the other 99.9% of the university.

Man...I guess that I am just in denial that the legendary, old school, "do it the right way", Joe Pa would seriously try and cover this up. I mean if a person engages in sexual activities with 10 year old boys then that person CLEARLY has some mental problems going on. What are the odds that any normal person would see this happening and not report it with vigor? Especially something that is has perturbing and disgusting as this. It just seems like this is something HUGE to cover up...its not like like they stealing footballs from the training room for Gods sake. What does one have to do with the other? Are you saying Penn State should be above the behavior of the Catholic Church or the other way around? from the sounds of it, these defense attorneys are ready to fight for curley and schultz, i wouldnt expect anything from joepa for a while here. he wont just resign and if he does it was planned regardless because he is 84.

and these grand jury hearings were done before the bowl game last year in december 2010. these guys have known for a while what was coming have had a plan in place for a while here. joepa could have just retired last year and this would have been a lot easier on him but they all came back. kind of makes me wonder why if they were holding something back here.
