i feel like i am one of the absolute most easy going persons you will ever meet, but this place put me over the edge one day/evening. absolute worst everything, i don't expect much from a fast food joint, but the guy at the cash register was absolete for minutes, the manager was "hanging out" with his buddies, none of the food was right, change was wrong. I wrote corporate, not to get anything free, but to let them know that they may want to look into and address the problem, never heard a thing back, emailed them again, and again never heard anything back.
i'll stick to the mama and pop burrito shops or taco pronto

I stopped eating at Subway due to the same type of shit.....I manage a store at a mall and the same middle eastern guy owns the subway, chinese buffet, t-mobile dealer and verizon dealer and I have had many an issue with this fucker....That is the problem, since they franchise the restaurant technically can decline the gift cards as retarded as it sounds.....Honestly though, subway subs have gotten pretty weak, Jersey Mike's or Jason's Deli for me!
Jersey Mikes should be ashamed sreving that sub to anyone. I lived in NJ 28 years and never have I gotten a sub at any local deli with 1 piece of ham, salami, and cheese on it. Was soo thin you could read the sunday paper through it!

Ironic.............I went to a subway near my work a few times. Slooooooow service. Went in one day & was the only one in there besides the employees.........one which was having lunch & the other doing sidework. I walk up & stand at the counter, watch this kid scoop lettuce for about 30 seconds, watch him go back & get another tub of lettuce & start scooping it into another tub. "be right with you" he says. By now there's two people standing behind me in line. "Need a hand with that?", I ask. "No, I just need to get this done." he replies...........pause........... "I can come back later if this is not a convenient time for you", I say, half snickering as the lady behind me chuckles. "No, that's OK. Just give me a couple minutes.", he says. I say, "Take your time", turn & smile at the people behind me, & walk out. Frikken amazing. I wasn't mad.........I remember being in a pretty good mood & just laughed as I went back to my rig. Needless to say, I haven't gone back there.

I dig Subway. I always ask for double cheese when they're putting on the meat, and when they finally finish putting on the vegetables and sauces, they forget to charge for double cheese. Works like a charm.

Franchises and corperate stores don't operate under the same rules. Even the number of pieces of meat per sub differs from shop to shop
sorry you are wrong. All subways work under the same francise rules and must follow those rules. If subway is selling gift cards as subway gift cards, then all subways need to honor them.
The owner of this subway is not following the rules.
