no need too. skyclassic has it corrct. Sean Avery... hated by the whole nhl... the guy is a total douche cheap shot artist who "turtles" when challenged to a straight up fight. most hated player league wide since Claude Lemieux who just might be the all time "Douche of Douches" in the NHL, retired.

I added Philip Rivers to the survey ... Most hated teams/players? Lebron for "The Decision". Stupid, immature move. Respect his game and I think he will mature eventually, but right now he has to be on the hated list.
Cleveland Cavaliers for trying to go with a sympathy image. Players leave the team they get drafted by all the time. It just happened to be his home team. The only thing wrong here is the way he went out.
I don't know how Michael Vick can be your MOST HATED athlete. He fought dogs (unethical and unlawful). He went to jail. It's not like he got it away with it. Now he's back and is successful and you're going to hate him for that? Why not hate other NFL players that killed people and didn't go to jail (Stallworth, or possibly Ray Lewis if he actually did it)?

nfl cowboys...easily most overhyped piece of sh*t organization that hasnt done d*ck for sh*t for 20 yrs. f the media hype.
i understand hating on bonds and all, but for those handful of yrs a decade ago that was some damn cool sh*t when that fool stepped into the box...pimp sh*t to see what the very best all balco'd up cud do...

It's surprising to me that nobody here said Jim Brown. He was/is a real POS. Bill Walton always grated on me. There was another kid from Syracuse who had a real gift for the game, but his attitude sucked and his work ethic sucked worse. I cannot think of that mans name. Derrick Coleman. That's who it is. He too is a POS. I have never been a fan of the Miami Prisoners...oops, I meant Hurricanes. Marty Schottenheimer - complete train wreck down the stretch. I wonder how long Roy Williams be able to keep his job before the Tar Heel faithful start calling for his head. I cannot remember a coach, while he was at Kansas and now at UNC, who has/will burn thru top talent without getting the ring. Sure, he got one in his first year at UNC, but he'll find a way to screw it up.
