Gilyard, Rams Win In Blowout

Mardy Gilyard shined in his debut for the Rams in what would turn out to be a blowout victory 51-25 at Edward Jones Dome Thursday Night.  In the early going Sam Bradford's knack for finding Mardy Gilyard was undeniable as he had 4 receptions on the opening drive.  The Rams' success on offense early was matched by their lack of defense as Cedric Benson averaged over 10 yards per carrier in the first half.  As the game wore on the gap spread and a few errors from the Bengals widened the gap, until Bernard Scott (CIN) broke open not one but two kickoff returns for touchdowns including an NFL season-record 107 yard return.  The game was capped off by a Carson Palmer interception that was returned for a touchdown by Rams LOLB Bobby Carpenter.  As time expired Cincinatti attempted to save face with a last second field goal that turned out to be a fake - the pass was completed but the secondary was not fooled and the Bengals could not score the late touchdown.  The game was gamecasted in the covers.com general discussion.

Finally starting to liek this madden . Its a shame the defense is so bad though. Everyone goes for it on 4th down its pathetic. Anyways, Im more lethal then ever at running and the passing game has always been there. You dont need this trouble.

For whatever reason my dad (who had 6 brothers) loved the Rams when he was young, and stuck with them for life, so growing up the Rams were always on tv every Sunday...

The Rams will be lucky to win 4 games this season but they should be pretty solid ATS and they should be a VERY solid OVER team.  They will be fun to watch this season.
