hey kud, where at in california are you?  could probably get you an interview at a costco if that interests you.

i'm in orange county. can make a phone call tough if you want. all costco's are hiring for seasonal help now. it can turn into a permanent position for the best people though. i'm pretty sure starting pay is $11 an hour. let me know if you have any other questions or if you want to apply.

Its probably the best damn place to work for in America. google it, i'm sure you'd find that the people that work there are 'happier' with their job than most. More than fair pay, and it's one of the very few companies out there that seem like they make effort to show that they care about employees. if i were you i'd take gunners up on that offer ASAP, jobs are becoming more scarce by the minute, so don't slack, if he can get you in, go for it.

it is a good place to work. they treat people well, good benefits, etc. entry level to start but lots of room to advance. planning lots of expansion over the next 10 years.

I forgot to report that I FOUND A JOB!!! as of a week ago!!
 
I have started and finished my first week. Finally going to start rolling in some cash flow.
