I once asked why does the book offer a split squad spring training(ss)game and the answer is because they can and if you bet it and won you win but if you bet it and loses you lose. You might think it's a mistake for them to offer those games but it's not under their rules....

it's really simple to me.....Player makes a wager and realizes the odds are wrong But....continues to go enter it knowingly it should be voided originally...everything else that happened afterwards is irrelevant....it's not how much he is capable of winning it's how much he thinks he can get away with by not correcting the mistake at once.

Its not the players obligation to jam a ruling down customer service's throat after they assured him everything is fine.

It is 100% customer services fault. Thats who the manager should be mad at.

Look, he TOLD customer service.  They checked it and OK'd him to continue.  How is it HIS fault?  How many times should he tell them?  Twice?  Three times, More?

    Tony Williams is an azzhole.

    PAY THE MAN HIS MONEY.

Ask yourself this.....why is this player the only one with this kind of issue? You might say because of the high amount he attained but in order for him to attain this was for him to try to get away with a clear mistake which he thought he could....The timing might be off but the clarity is clear here and if I was a JUDGE in this ruling it's all about the line error and it clearly states in the rules section all wagers/bets should be corrected immediately and it's the players responsibility to go to the highest power/authority to avoid any further problems in this matter....and if Mr. Williams honored this wager himself then we won't have an issue....

Then why even have customer service if they mean nothing.

Why not direct everything to this D-bag Tony?

I'm done with this thread. 5 dimes makes millions an they are trying to screw a player out of 10g.

Would never ever ever put another cent in this crooked book. ever

this player says he went to customer service and they didn't do much but blink an eye but he himself knew it wasn't the right thing and what do we really know, maybe he didn't go to customer service for all we know.but that's besides the point. and to reitterate the point of all this is the line error was clear and the player still played on knowingly.just my 2 cents.

    Exactly.

Had my argument with Tony 7 years ago and never looked back.

Got news for ya ALL the books are crooked one way or another, they cut limits to winning players, they charge withdrawl fees, Betfair  even charges a goddamn deposit fee.

Anyways it's possible the manger works out of his home office in the states somewhere. Bodog used to have a office in Burnaby Canada, SI is out of a indian reservation in Quebec, it's the money transactions that are done in a foreign country just out of reach from US authorities.

Can't abuse the system...even if we feel the system(gov.)abuses us. Pinnacle left the US market I believe of the Abusers in the USA. More corrupt then anywhere else. The limits were higher and they Americans can't seem to control themselves hence the abusing ways and now we all are cheated in America..There is a reason why Black and White folk have the highest divorce rate in the world..hence another abusing quality that most other countries can't understand and or don't want to understand. Why aren't there more Vegases around the US so the Americans could benefit more from this. One reason their government and their blindness to their so called free world.

No Pinnacle left the US to save their own behind, they are a major player in the Asian and Europe markets, why risk everything over the states.

I don't really care one way or another really....the bottom line is it's your own money and you take your own risks no matter what it is. whether it's at propbet or some other site.

Tony is sticking to his belief that no money would have been won if it wasn't for the 3900, which is potentially true.

However, the player took that 4800 (3900 + 900 deposit) and took that to a cash out of 10K and still had money left over. He then took that to 32000+. 32000+10000 = 42,000. Say he won 40000 total, he won a 4k bet which he shouldn't of, so he multiplied his money 10 fold.

I would tell Tony, we are even. Since he increase his balance by 10x. 10x his 900 deposit is 9000. He took out 10k, so roughly 1k difference.

If I were the player, I'd tell Tony we're even. Keep the balance and I'll keep the 10k that I withdrew and get lost, based on the math above. The player needs to be firm and walk away. He shouldn't piss these offshore guys off. It's 10k, so not enough to send anyone after him, but if he pushes, it could get ugly.

    Player is in the right.
Tony is using threat tactics to get his company the money back based on what his closed mind believes about the incorrect wager.

    Hope this ends quickly.

Now I know for a fact some of these offshore outfits have shills on these boards.

Anyone who dares defends Tony's behavior regarding the threats he made towards this man or disregarding that fact entirely is either a shill or a piece of human trash just like Tony.

That is a decent compromise, since the player already received 10K.  But I think Tony should still send the player about 10K more and then call it even.

That is like if a burglar breaks into your home, finds 30K in cash, accidentally drops 20K on the way out the window, then calls you up to ask for another 10K, saying he will split with you.
