OK fine. But lets be serious here. It does go a long way to disproving the CHRISTIAN / JUDAIC / MUSLIM god. Science has basically withered away the biblical story to rubbish.

If you want to believe in a higher power - or god - that is pretty much not provable. But if you want to tell me that the christian god, as described in the bible - did things literally as they were done in the bible - I would say that science has all but disproved that a long time ago.

I agree. The Pope and the Catholic Church shouldnt be considered a religion. They should be taxed as a business, and treated as one.
At least we agree on something.
Why? Why should charities around the world be given tax breaks and advantages where as a large portion of the Catholic Churches function is charitable works should not recieve these same benefits?

The Bible conveys that the earth is about 6,500 years old. We know through science that the earth is much closer to 4,500,000,000 years old. Slight miscalculation.

The story of Noahs Ark. Science has proven that at the time, there were roughly 10 million species of animal on the earth, along with many million more microscopic organisms. Lets just stick with animals - and say that Noah had to bring on board 20 million animals. 6 thousand people fit on the largest cruise ships - how did Noah round up 20 million animals and put them on his dinky little hand made boat? How did he get seals and penguins? The guy didnt even know ice existed. The whole story is absurd - and if you say that Noahs Ark, as it is written - is not scientifically disproven - then you live in la la land.
If you are pre-supposing naturalism, of course it sounds la la to you....Your problem is that your pre-supossitions are holding your arguments...

The bible is not a scientific textbook. Does it claim to be ? The bible is a religious book for religious purposes...
Even if it is too small to be detected by the most powerful micro scope, it is still under the naturalistic realm as the claim is that it is orbiting the earth....
