Lay the law down early about not being as clean and organized as her or she will spend every day of your life together trying to change you.  Women feel its their responsibility to change men for the better as they percieve it.  You need to tell her straight up this is how I am and you are never going to change me take it or leave it.
 
As was said earlier always have a plan B....

dont worry.. ive been living with my gf for two years shes been my fiance for a month now,,, as long as you are compatible with the girl than it will be fine.. i remeber the days leading up to it being very nerve racking, but it turned out to be great.

Some people are cool with being alone others can't hack it.  Not sure how old you are but once you hit 30 you need to decide where you want to be at 40 and start laying down some foundation.
 
Getting married having kids isn't for everyone, neither is settling down if your ready for it than don't worry jump right in.  If your not ready for it don't do it as every little thing will bother you not because it really bothers you, its because the situation bothers you.

Its a false statement to say every woman wants to change a guy...usually its all about compromise and WHATS FAIR for both. See thats the problem, women tend to think more about fairness and equality, men tend to think about themselves.
 
Best to pick up your game and pick up your clothes. She'll probly be running round after you for the first couple of months but after the novelty wears off, its all on.
