The kid was being recklessly thrashed around, almost certain death to this kid if they did not take the shot. I agree that the gorilla was also innocent... that is not the point.

As far as value to the planet goes you are no more important than the maple tree in my yard. Nor am i. Parents should pay a steep fine!! Who the fuk takes their eyes off a child WHENEVER there is a possible dangerous situation. Would you not assess the situation and determine if your child could not be in harms way? They were not in an ice cream parlor with the doors closed. He had to be put down and the reason is squarely because of lack of supervision of the child.POINT BLANK!
