# 1. A big group of a bunch of my friends; a few married, most bf/gf took a big trip out to LV for long weekend. Some of my unmarried friends joked about getting married out there. My gf - ( and now current wife ) joked about it too - how it would be so much cheaper - etc.; but we couldnt do that to our famlies ( getting married on the spur of the moment ).
While we were out at some casinos we were missing 2 people from our group - later on we found out that these 2 ( Chris and Jean ) had rented a limo and drove to the Little Wedding Chapel or something ( it was one of those drive thru ones ) and got married.
What was crazy is that here we were all together and they didnt invite any of their friends to the wedding As far as I know they are still married.
# 2 - A second friend - his first marriage ended - he met another girl; they lived together for a bit - they fly out to LV one weekend and got married dirt cheap somewhere.
That chick also turned out to be a nutjob - he divorced her a few years later. He's with another crazy chick - I dont know if he will ever learn.

Thanks Keaton - made me feel better. I was in the same situation, same age as your friend - dating a girl who was about 10 year younger than me. I always felt uncomfortable about it though she never was. I broke up with her a few times and she always came back. One time she didnt and ive have regretted it since. I broke up with her for the same reason you mentioned about her "wanting to have fun with her friends". I assumed that would eventually happen as when it came to anything outside of just me and her we were always on different pages.
Did I mention she told him this about 3 weeks after he bought her a 15,000 car?
Of course, the car was in her name, after all, they were married
