My two cents: OK, the kid has a history of being a jokester, and yeah, he probably should have just stopped when he was told his time was up (but remember, he was just talking, not doing anything physical) and John Kerry told him to continue.
But of course, the cops have to take it to the physical level. I'd bet that if they had let him finish and let Kerry answer, he would have sat down. But no, it takes 8 cops to wrestle him down and taser him after he asks them not too. For what?? Being unrulely? Give me a break.
I'm sure some will say that he was resisting, he should have stopped when they asked him to, etc. Ok, I'll give you that. But, come on. Tasering the kid?? There were 8 cops on him, and they tasered him?? In a public forum?? When he asked them not too?? Sure, the kid put up some resistance, because he felt he did nothing wrong. Which is true. He did not break the law before they touched him. Seriously, what kind of fucking coward would taser a skinny white kid when he has 7 of his buddies are already on the guy?? I shouldn't be surprised.

I agree with everything you said, as I figured the kid was a problem from the get go (although, I wouldn't taser the kid myself!). But my issue is still the overreaction from cops - again. Your last paragraph sums it up well, as it should have went down.
