    Q. What political party was instrumental in helping to pass the civil rights act of 1964 and without their support LBJ would not have been able to pass this piece of historic legislation.

    A. The Republican Party who was the Majority as the time

I know a lot of Republicans believe the earth is 6,000 years old and that man hasn't experienced evolution and some probably are looking for the end of the earth, but now you guys seem to treat thermometers are some form of witchcraft.  Global warming has been a fact.  We can certainly argue about the various causes (or lack thereof) or even whether the trend will continue or reverse, but how can we debate the recent history of global warming over 100 years and its acceleration in the past 30?  Only way someone can not believe this is they basically don't believe in thermometers.

Science isn't really a Republicans strong suit, I guess.  Come to think of it, math, geography and history are not really strong suits either.

    And life goes on.....

So while you are bitching about holidays no one cares about, cherry picked history, and environmental issue that are now beyond our control we are about to have a Democratic Congress and President. If you thought living with Bush was bad welcome to hell. But guess what, just like I couldn't do anything about Bush jr. ruining the Republican party for possibly decades you can't do ANYTHING to stop the Democrats  from taking over  the entire Federal government. Point your ignorant bitching succeeds in only one goal. Making republicans look like illogical, redneck, extremist more than Ann Coulter does.

Life has taught me something about "sheep". Sheep are idealogical  animals  that follow  second hand  information as long as it has any kind of  evidence behind it. Like how the sheep followed Bush into Iraq because he said so or followed Kennedy into Vietnam. Sheep like to talk more than act. Sheep complain because they are powerless to do more. If anyone here is a "sheep", is you.

Wolves on the other hand don't talk to talk. They act and then kill. They understand people only listen to someone respectable, someone with teeth. That those teeth being used says more that words. Wolves don't bitch, they take. Wolves understand that if you really have a problem with something you take care of it. That if you have a problem with your government you better have a lot of cash and pull to take care of it. But that's a wolf, not you.

However none of this really matters. Everyone older that 30 knows that no matter what shit our government does (and they will always pull shit) you will get by based on who you are. We've all seen players come and go but what keeps our necks above the waterline is our personal job performance. Not whatever new bullshit the government does. In fact the one thing most of us already know is never to trust the government or rely on them. There are pro

that is all he will ever be.....a $2 attention person...nothing more.  Unfortunately, they are a dime a dozen around these parts.

btw...I like how he left out/minimized some of MLK's accomplishments

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King_Junior

    1.  Led the Montgomery Bus Boycotts which lead to the end of racial discrimination on public transportation

    2.  Founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference

    3.  Organized the March on Washington

    4.  Received the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in the civil rights movement

without King & others in the civil rights movement, Northern whites would not have seen the brutal racism of the South piped into their living rooms on the nightly news.  Without King, you don't get the 1964 Civil Rights Act because their would have been no political pressure to enact it.  Sarg denying that these are actual accomplishment shows the true attention person he is.

King's accomplishments, as important as they are to civil rights, don't even come remotely CLOSE to the accomplishments of George Washington who sacrificed and gambled  EVERYTHING on an idea.

You are truly demented insane liberals.

    What is your point?
