The better question is WHO GIVES A FUCK? There isn't a single American I know of that celebrates any of our holidays correctly much less gives a shit what they are about.
Independence day = BBQ+Booze+Fireworks.
president day = BBQ+Booze
Thanksgiving = Gluttony+Booze+football
Christmas = Church+Gluttony+booze+gifts
MLK day = going to work like any other day.
So in fact of all the holidays I believe MLK day is the one we don't celebrate the American way.
Let's face it. 99% of all Americans will honor George Washington buy getting shitfaced, getting fat, taking the kids to Disneyland, or going to work. Thus, WHO GIVES A FUCK?

I'm going to work on President's Day just like I went to work on MLK Day. There definetely double standards all over the place today like the NAACP awards and the channel BET. But lets be real here, blacks had to make there own events and opportunites back when whites wouldn't let them celebrate certain holidays or recognized them in awards shows et alone let them in the door. I think in some cases people want equality yet blacks are going out of there way to prove otherwise. Then you still have the closet racists that speak harsh words but when they around blacks, are intimidated and act like bitches and have to make fun of their own race. The bottom line is who gives a shit.....U have to dial a frieken 1 for english when calling some hotels now adays....There are so many races and cultures in the US that you just celebrate what you believe in and respect the others in which you don't....
