Is this guy working in some plant in another country?
If this story is true, just think what employers will do when the last of the unions in the country vanish. Our own people will be turned into working slaves just like the workers in other countries are.
And please save the "our govt will protect the workers when that day happens" cause corporations are the ones controlling the whole entire govt

CD, on that note that reminds me of a Asian documentary on long hours they put in. Nothing like we in US take for granted.
I can't remember full details but I always remember the parts where employers encourage Meth use and a high % are slaves to hardcore speed drugs to work long hours for little wage to try and support their family.
Also I found interesting that some companies over there install suicide jump nets around the tops of the taller buildings to prevent employee jumpers. That's a whole other level....lol whoa

You are 100 percent correct. Lot of those factories chain the doors, so the workers cant even leave. Can you imagine the things that are happening in factories overseas, that we dont hear about?
People can hate unions, but the truth is they actually help union and non union workers by keeping corporations in check. Once corporations can get rid of unions, they will have complete control over the countries work force and people will be foolish to believe our govt will keep the companies in check. Watch how fast new laws get written to help companies and take workers rights away.
I doubt it could ever get to the same levels as overseas workers, but who really knows, maybe it could.

Unless things get better and change overseas, it will only get worse for us.
