. I enjoy tipping 25% to people who act like they are happy when you tip, some people act like they deserve it regardless. I went to many resorts down south. All inclusives are awesome. The drinks are free but when you give the mexicans 5 bucks anyway they remember and give you the best service ever. 5 bucks in egypt and you are king, they might kill you later but you will get beer at light speed. A beer still costs 4-5 bucks but they only make a couple dollars a month. 
Worked fulltime as bartender from 1994 -2003 , in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham , Al.... i worked at high volume night clubs where speed was mostb important...I didnt sit there and listen to your miserable life stories...
Best tippers - Charles Barkley was very good...Bas Ruten and Ken Shamrock...
Strippers always tipped well but they usually were gettin comp drinks and ordering different multiple liquor drinks ,shooters etc..USUALLY A PAIN IN THE ASS
People rolling on extascy and leaving a five spot for a free cup of water...Yea i could of charged them 3 bucks for a bottle water ...But i could make so much on tips giving out cups of water..

Janet is a degenerate gambler. I spent the entire weekend of the celebrity golf tournament in Tahoe 2009 in the high roller room with her. She was betting anywhere from 5-25K per hand of blackjack and playing 2-3 hands at a time. Wayne is a box, she definitely wears the pants.
I have never served but I heard from friends her in Phx that Stephon Marbury was a total stiff. Would rack up hundreds of dollars on a tab in a nice restaurant chain here called Houston's - never left a dime.
I'm sorry but this is the fucking problem with servers.....10% is not "nothing" it's 10 percent. Just because they have more money than you doesn't mean they should give it to you. I'd like to see a thread of celebrities that got shitty service or a thread that talks about how servers and bartenders bother the fuck out of them, instead of just doing their job and serving them.

Believe what you want, but I'm almost 20% across the board and that's because I'm a gracious guy. I give money to panhandlers too. I come from nothing and have made a good living through dedication and hard work. I know what it's like to be broke and how a little that doesn't matter much to me can go along ways to someone without. I just don't understand how a server can just expect someone to tip them a certain percentage based on their income. "You have lots, give more to me".

Celebrity struck people are embarrassing to themselves sometimes. Not going to name drop but I have been around alot of big names here and there. To hang with someone who is somewhat high profile at a bar or some public event, you will see what I am talking about.
