It's just sad that we as human beings can't look inside our own self to find strength.

People are so scared of dying, have no inner strength and can't face this cruel world without the belief that someone is protecting them.

Even the idea of heaven isn't attractive.  Who wants to be somewhere that a large portion of others will not be a part of.  if heaven is too good for most people, then its too good for me. 

You have one chance to live your life.  It's YOUR world and everyone else is just living in it.  So make your own rules/values/decisions and stop attributing that to a fictious character.
