Stay Away From 5dimes.com

Log into my account today to find my $450 balance was gone. I check past wagers and see that none were placed. Then I checked the third party poker site that is offered by 5dimes, and find that all my funds were transferred to this poker site and were lost in over 100 heads up tournaments to the same person. I contact customer support today, and not only are they rude, irresponsibly, disrespectful, but they also accuse me of lying. This is not a website that you want to put your money on. David Norton: second of all, I had $455 dollars in my 5dimes acocunt, and I logged in today to find my balance at 0. I checked the wagers and found none to be placed. Then I checked the poker website and found that someone had transferred all my funds to the poker website and played over 120 tournaments
David Norton: I want a refund of my balance because you guys allowed my funds to be sent to a third party poker website with absolutely no verification process and no protection against fraud or account hacker
Becky: your account was accessed with the information required to access it
David Norton: it was not accessed by me..
Becky: & the password was entered
David Norton: there is no verification process..
Becky: the verification process is done through the password that is required when funds are transferred
David Norton: so now you are calling me a liar...

David Norton: exactly.. so you would agree that if someone hacks a 5dimes account..through the use of your password.. there is NO FURTHER VERIFICATION to send the money to a third party poker site

Becky: the same security measures used since the creation of your account were applied
Becky: if the one accessing your account was not you but had your information, that is not our fault
David Norton: it is your fault for failing to provide adequate security measures to a third party poker site
David Norton: a THIRD PARTY poker site, there should be extreme caution and security when a player is to transfer funds
David Norton: yet you guys allow funds to be sent with no further information than is needed to log into a 5dimes account

Becky: which is that you are not going to be refunded for the losses your account registered yesterday
Becky: again, i do suggest to change your story, if you want to say you had a bad strike in poker

Becky: because maybe you were drunk
Becky: or drugged
Becky: then i might look into your account to see if a bonus is due

what a fucking joke... and here i was hoping to deposit money into 5dimes at some point...

I'm surprised they are considered a top book with all the issues with their customer service

I do not understand why anyone would ever deposit money on a website like 5dimes. They are truly a joke and do not deserve the business of anyone.

or, when you live with a large male roommate who is inclined to rufy you, the best thing that likely happened that night was losing $455 playing poker without remembering it.

Downloaded the 5dimes poker software and created a username and password.
Believe you and me if 5dimes noticed your login IP was from ex.NY
but someone from russia hacked in and downloaded poker to play tourneys you would be refunded.
To call them out here only makes you a loser.

they do track IP addresses. Why didn't you ask her about that?
I'm sure if they found out it was an IP address from another state or country, they might be more willing to help you..... prob not refund you - but maybe give you a free play or something.

But, based on the story you gave them, NO BOOK would ever refund with that information. If they did, everyone and their mother would be calling in with the same b.s.

I call bull shit on you. True his actions aren't one of a genius but you are always touting 5dimes. Can't you see at the very least that their customer service reps are terrible. I don't want to get into the book itself with you now, but seriously!

I can ONLY speak for myself....I've been with 5Dimes since late August, I've NEVER had a problem with any payouts (4 so far) and customer service has been fine, but I've only spoken with them in regards to deposits/withdrawals/and what was BEST bonus for me (I chose 15% of losses once a month) although there was a time I went into my account and the previous nights $598 was GONE!!  I called and was told that it had been LOST in the Casino the night before, between x and y hours, I disagreed, they assured me that my account was "opened" with the Proper name and Password, and that if I gave them some time they would look into it and get back to me.  Well they did and they said it was from the IP address that I regularly sign in from, and they further told me, that I could NOT receive a refund, so if my account was hacked it was done on my computer!!  I was bullsiht...but said to myself there has to be some explanation.  Which I found my wife came home and said when I had gone to the bed( we each had had a few drinks) she went into the study and I had left on the 5Dimes (she knows I bet and we are the only ones who live here, in fact the previous night I had played a college game) anyway, she said she made anotehr drink and started messing around, got into the Casino, transferred some $$, lost it, tried to get it back and blew the $598....SO I called 5D explained, apologized for saying what I did to the Cust. Service Rep....they gave me a small credit (for $$ played in Casino) as wellas a Free $50 Sports Bet......oh, and they honored my request of LOCKING everything but Sports for any access!!

Yea, but be careful. They will un-lock it just as quick. Their reasoning is that it is your account, so you should be able to control it.

It doesn't make any sense...if someone hacked into your account why would they play over a 100 heads up tournaments? for what $2 at a time? the  "person" who hacked your account would as few hands as possible to get the money...not play for hours to get your money.
