5dimes check payout

Since I'm not an exclusive Bitcoin depositor, a check was one of my withdrawal options. I requested a check this morning. I'll update the thread with new information. It's been over a year since I used this method. If I recall correctly, it took four days to receive my check. 

Money withdrawn from my sportsbook account within the past hour. 

Logged into my account and received a message saying it could take up to 10 business days. 

I requested one on Monday as well. I got it this morning at 10:30 AM Pacific time.  Really quick.  Already deposited it!  

I never deposited with bitcoin but I did a $2000 withdrawal via check about 2 months ago and the money was at my door 3 days after they took it out of my account

Had issues trying to deposit the check with Capital One. Waiting to see when the check will post to my bank account. Bank said it could be 4-6 weeks. 

Get a new bank :)  Shouldn't take longer than any normal check but who knows with these banks!

I have been using Bit Coin for the last 2 months.. it really is incredible and perfectly tailored for gambling... I wish I began years ago!

The problem is most of the time the teller doesn't know the banks procedures how to deposit a check in foreign currency. Most of the bigger banks make it easier for the teller when they scan it thru their reader it prompts them what to do. Some banks say they don't accept it just because they don't know how to, in these banks usually they have to inter office the deposit to foreign currency dept to make the deposit which takes about a week or so which blows. Told check should clear within the next 7 days

Receiving payout checks from 5dimes is a waste of time!!! I requested a check was charged a processing fee, received check in about 6 business days only to find out, 14 days later from my bank, that the check was no good. This transaction was initiated 4/4/17, and there is still no resolution of me getting funds redeposited in my account. Was originally told 3-5 business days by customer service, it has been 10. DO NOT REQUEST CHECK PAYOUT FROM 5 dimes!!!!

Very unfortunate to here. I hope and believe they will take care of the issue soon since it seems you've waited a reasonable amount of time. Keep us updated.

Every check I ever deposited from them cleared with no problem. And there were all for 3-4-5K. Cleared within days. What bank do you use ? They usually write you checks from one of several Canadian banks. Then again with all the crap going on at 5D who knows what else will happen? Not sure how their business can survive with no one making credit card deposits anymore. It's gonna get to the point where everyone realizes you can't use your card there. The casual player isn't using bitcoin. They're gonna lose a ton of business if they don't secure their credit card processors. And fast. Doesn't seem like any end is in sight.

Same thing happened to me. Cashed out for 2400$ via check mid April. I got the check in like 12 days & deposited the next day. Check cleared. Just today my bank has debited that check $2400from my account!! This is fucking horrible. Btw, I have another 3800$ check on the way... feeling horrible about 5Dimes!!

When you login to 5dimes was there not a message regarding checks issued from feb-april? Also what's your definition of cleared? When you deposit a check and your account balance reflects that the next day that doesn't actually mean the check cleared.

Yeah so the check didn't clear. When you deposit the check your balance reflects it but it can take banks weeks to collect international funds. Clearly, your bank's attempt was unsuccessful which led them to debit the funds. I cashed out $8000 first week of April. First $4000 check is still in my account... other one was sent to collections on April 17th and can take up to 6 weeks to clear. 5dimes should replace your check without issue.

My question though is when you login to 5dimes is there no message saying you may be a recipient of a bad check from one of their processors?

Yes. I did receive that message but I wasn't concerned because the money was already in my acct for a couple weeks before even seeing that message. I heard that they will not send another check but rather put those funds back in my account-- which is just a delay tactic. Now I'm concerned as I have 1 check on the way- I'm anxious the same issue will happen again

Your other check was sent to collections by your bank? So it bounced?

It hasn't bounced yet. I exceeed my international deposit limit so it was sent to collections. My limit is $5000 every 10 days and I deposited $8000. My balance reflected the 2nd check and then the bank quickly debited it and told me what happened (deposit limit). We'll know by next week if it will bounce or if the bank was able to collect the $$$.

Once the money is back in your account you can get another check. I'm glad you at least got the message so you had a heads up.
